Does not display video, just two white lines on a blue background, sound OK. Not had a problem before and wonder if I can resolve this as I still want to be able to play my old VHS
Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: NATIONAL NV-370
Yes, the NV 370 was among the most produced and popular VCR machines by Panasonic. Ifthere is no color, only 2 reasons i can think of - 1. Check the Colour / B&W switch at t5he rear of the machine. It might accidently be on 'B&W' mode. 2. Clean the video Heads. Dirty Heads also show as B&W picture on this machine. 3. There is a internal circuitry fault (tho' very rare in this machine. If it is a circuit fault, then there is nothing you can do, unless you know Solid state Electronics servicing. And even after that, it may become difficult to service, as spares may not be available. Machine is a 20 year old model.

SOURCE: Videocassette stuck in Panasonic NV-G50 VHS VCR; can't eject
Generally, you have to take off the cover, and find the motor that
drives the cassette loading mechanism, then turn the motor shaft with
your fingers (many many times) until the cassette is unloaded.
Usually the moter is easy to get at on top just to the right of the
cassette mechanism. However sometimes it is underneath and you
can only get at it by taking everything apart. Don't try this
yourself and don't take the cassette carraige assembly apart trying to
get at the cassette unless you don't plan on using this VCR again.
