Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: The text message sound alerts on my Glyde phone arent working

Nokia phones call them "profiles" , a set of preset modes where you can have different volume levels and tones for different occasions i.e General, meeting, loud, silent etc. I was suggesting trying a different preset mode If available to see if it worked for you.

Can't hear sound for text message

Go into your settings menu and check your sound levels.
Settings - Sound.
Most Android phones have separate volume levels for notifications, music, and calls. Chances are your notification volume is turned all the way down.

I've tried everything, can't get sounds for in coming texts

go to your settings. click on sound. here you should find a notification option and set which ringtone you would like. make sure that you go back to your sound settings or caller settings to make sure the volume is actually turned on for incoming text messages. the reason you might not be getting them is because you have it default in your phone to keep them silent. just browse your setting options for sound or calls where you will find a "volume" option. select that and slide your notification sound over to whatever level you like! hope you found this helpful!

Message text changed to small, and i cant find how to change it back

Hello

OK, On the side of the phone, there should be two buttons for volume. While viewing a text MSG, click to "volume up" button and it will make the text bigger.
Let me know if this was sufficient.

Kind regards
Andrea

My phone will not send a text message but it will get online. what could the problem be?

hi it sounds like your message center number is wrong all you need to do is call your service provider and ask them for the correct message center number, they will then send you updates for your phone via text message, they dont charge for this but doing this will solve your problem.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
