Question about Hayden-Harnett 1975-1999 Ford F250 Engine Cooling Fan Hayden 75-99 Ford Engine Cooling Fan 1998 1985
I've been having problems with my truck running for only two seconds but then it dies. I've replaced so far the ignition control module, the ignition coil, ignition coil cap, it has a brand new fuel pump in it. I even bought a brand new Holley carburetor for it. I've limited it down to the fuel cause when I spray carburetor spray into the carburetor I can keep it running. I'm thinking it might be my fuel pump relay but I have no idea where it is. If you can tell me where it is or if you have any other suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate to hear back from you. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
If it is a carburated engine it should have a mechanical fuel pump on the side of the engine, if this is the case it will only pump gas when the engine is cranking or running. Disconnect fuel line at carb, crank engine and see if it pumps gas out of line, if not check filter and lines from carb to tank for stoppage or bending but more than likely you will have to change fuel pump.
