Question about Saws
Bought a model 113.198250 RAS. I need to replace the miter encoder because the wires at the read out end are shot. How do I R/R the encoder? Is there a repair manual that's more comprehensive than the owners manual? (I've ordered the owners manual and it is on the way.) Also, I can't find a happy medium between adjusting the elevation for ease and keeping the arm from moving laterally. I can't square the blade to the fence which involves the same bolts and hex screws as the elevation adjustment. Thanks.

A friend just inherited a model 113.197110 and we are in the process of trying to restore it. I can draw you the wiring connections if you haven't figured it out yet.
