The method that these machines use to clean is called extraction and in order to do that, the drum has to spin at a high speed. In your case it does not sound like it is. There are a couple of things to note. There is a technicians sheet attached to the machine inside, it has all the tests that you can run. The sheet is usually on the frame and you take the bottom panel off under the door to get to it. The other thing is while you are in there, you should see a trap with a big drain plug on it. Take the cap off but be ready for lots of water! Have a vacuum ready for it. Then clean it out. The machine should be showing error codes when you have problems and if you note what the code is, it can be helpful. The machine uses two controllers. One is the MCU and that is the motor control unit. The other is the CCU and that is the computer control unit. The CCU talks to the MCU. The usual cause is the MCU and they are about 200 USD.

SOURCE: A pair of yellow cotton

Did you dry them in the dryer? if you did then the stain is set, and it wont come out.

If they where line dried or ? Start by washing them again, with the hottest setting they can take, using detergent. It may just wash out.

If not Rit dye has a colorant remover available, try that.

Good Luck.

OK you can remove thr tumbler with a Number 20 Torx driver. The FAV6800A/9800A Service Manual does not call out the torx driver size. Page 37 of the SM will take you thru the process. Let us know if you have any questions. Rich

SOURCE: wfw8300sw04 does not complete wash cycle. Clothes stay wet and door does not unlock.

Assuming that you mean the washer stops at the spin cycle and door remains locked, then thats normal safety precaution when tub has water in it. If the drain pump is bad or restricted this could be a reason for this happening. You can get the door opened by taking off the bottom front portion of the washer also known as a kickplate. Once this is done with the machine unplugged you can reach up on the right side an there usually is a plastic tab that you pull that will release the door catch. While your down there you can check the drain pump, located in the front center of the machine. On most of the front load the pumps have a center piece facing forwad that you can twist to the left to unscrew and remove any debris that could be blocking water flow. If this is the case you still may need to replace the drain pump depending on how long somethings been in the pump. Note that while you're doing this you will also find what they call a tech sheet inside the machine. This will give you step by step instructions on how to enter the diagnostic mode, and run test etc.

Whirlpool Cabrio gets unbalanced load at 7 minutes

Make sure load is properly sorted with like materials and paired up, do not mix things like towels with pants or shirts all together as different items absorb more water then others and can create unbalance when trying to enter final spin. If issue continues, it is very possible and item of clothing may have found itself stuck between spin basket and outer tub. This is very likely scenario due to design of this washer. If that is the case, spin basket must be removed then remove clothing to resolve issues.

White streaks on dark clothes after washing.

Reduce the load !!

You are getting white streaks because the clothes are so compressed the machine is not agitating them correctly.

My daughter gets the same problem and she still insists on packing the clothes in.

My wife washes the same clothes for her with the right load and they come out fine

My cloths don't come clean.....whites are dingy even with bleach. Normal stains on regular colors don't come out. If you put more than one pair of pants or two long sleeved shirts in a load they come out...

First I would start by cleaning your washer system with vinegar. Ran your machine like you would without clothes and pour a cup of vinegar like you would with the soap for a whole cycle. If this doesn't work chances are your drain is clog or your pump isn't working properly.

Cant hem unable to workout what length to start with to end up with the correct length required looking at the manual it says to take the hem and fold it over etc. but its very confusing

Sorry, I don't understand just what you mean by "length to start". Length of what - stitch? hem turn-up?
Let us assume you are taking up a hem of a pair of pants. Try them on and put a pin where you want the hem to finish i.e. this will be the bottom of the pants. Take pants off, turn them inside out (careful that your pin does not fall out!) and fold the excess pants on that pin mark. The excess fabric should be on the outside, not tucked inside the leg tunnel. Measure how much it is from the existing hem to where you folded it over, let us say for the purposes of this exercise it is 4 inches. Your hem is to be 1 inch and you need 1/2 inch to turn under for a neat finish, total 1 1/2 inches, so you need to cut off 2 1/2 inches from the bottom of each pants leg. Fold 1/2inch at new leg bottom (wrong side of fabric to wrong side), press, fold 1 inch hem same way and press. Place pins every 2inches or so at a right angle to the hem edge. Pins should come out 1/4inch from edge of hem where the 1/2inch neatening fold was made (this is where I wish I could draw a picture!). Fold the hem back inside the leg tunnel. The pins should make the fabric fold under only enough so that 1/4inch of the hem sticks out beyond the pants leg. You will sew on this bit using the blind hem stitch (04 on my 7550). You might need to adjust the stitch width - not length - so that the straight part of the stitch goes along the hem bit and the zig-zag JUST bites into the pants leg fabric.
I do hope this lengthy explanation is of some use to you!

Not sewing - jamming

Could it be that the feed dogs are down? I also have the 15358 and when I opened the bobbin area to clean it, I had this problem. Apparently, when you open the clips around the outside of the casing, it pushes the lever that adjusts the feed dogs to the right (lowering them). I didn't even realize it at first. Check your manual for adjusting this lever to raise the feed dogs. That might solve your problem.

I think you fried it. put it under a lamp for a while (not too close to the lamp) to try and dry it out. if that doesnt work, something shorted out inside, and you can repair it or get a nice shiny new one
