Panasonic Hoover cleaner motor cuts out and fuse blows

Using too much current. check to make sure that the motor is spinning at the correct speed. If there is grease caked on bearings it might be spinning slow, overheating, using too much juice and shutting down.
If motor speed is up to par and condition persists you may have some burnt/shorted windings responsible for the issue - the motor has to be replaced.

Panasonic vacuum cleaner just stopped running

Set the on/off switch to off, now check near the top of the "beater" portion, I think that model has a reset button, you should hear a slight "click" when depressed. Try turning the vacuum back on.

Unplug, check if brush has cord wrapped. Check for fuse, if applicable.
Check power lead in another supply socket. Check for reset button, if applicable. Contact Panasonic technical support for suggestions before heading to service centre.

Suddenly stopped running in the middle of vacuuming a room. Tried another outlet and still no power.

You have to go to the electrical panel that serves your home or apartment and locate the fuse that is blown [ if there are fuses, replace the blown one with a new one of the same amperage] or the circuit breaker which has kicked part way off. With a circuit breaker you have to turn it all the way off and then back on in order to reset it.

The 10 amp thermal fuse on my Panasonic MC-E468 vacuum cleaner has blown. Unfortunately the red ink has worn off exactly where the temperature rating is printed so even with a magnifying glass cannot make...

It appears the fuse is not available separately. Standard retail price for the complete unit is £9.00 including VAT. We can supply at that price plus postage and packing at cost, which would probably be no more than £2.50.  If this is of interest to you, please reply with an email address where I can contact you direct.
