Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
Hi! I have just replaced the lamp in my DLP Mitsu for the 1st time. Still I have no picture, but I do have sound. I called the 1 800 number in my owners manual and the tech stated the female and male ends that connect in the housing are very sensitive and may have broke (female end). I'm really confused now. WHat is wrong with my DLP? it is only 2 yrs old. Has new bulb and still I have no picture.
HEY SAM SOUNDS LIKE THE LAMP IS NOT THE ONLY ISSUE,IT COULD BE YOU'RE 5 VOLTSUPPLY IS LOW THE ONLY WAY TO BE SURE IS TO REMOVE THE MANY SCREWS HOLDING THE BACK ON AND ALSO REMOVE THE METAL SHEET TO GET ACCESS TO THE PLUGS ON THE LITE ENGINE AND USE A VOLTMETER TO TEST FOR 5 VOLTS. IF YOU FIND IT IS IN FACT LOW YOU'LL NEED TO REPLACE THE 6 CAPACITORS THAT YOU WILL FIND HAVE AGED (THEY LOOK BUBBLED) THAT ARE ON THE POWER BD. GOOD LUCK. JOE TV
