the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

I need to set greeting on mfc-990cw

Press Menu and then use the up/down arrows to highlight Fax. Press Fax and then use the arrows to display Setup Msg Ctr and press that. Navigate to OGM and press that. Select F/T OGM (for announce only) or Msg Ctr OGM (callers can leave a message). Press Record OGM and then speak clearly to the microphone and then press Stop/Exit when done. The message should play back. Press Stop/Exit again. Then press the Message Center button on the MFC-990CW to activate the feature. (The icon on this button looks like a house next to a down arrow.)

Brother has the documentation for this unit here: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/doc/manual_index.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc990cw_all&dlid=&flang=English&type2=-1 .

I hope this helps.

Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 system I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.

We've listened to all of our messages and deleted them. However, the red light will not go off on our Avaya 5410 phone. How do we get this red light to go off?

Look in teh "Manager" program. look unders users, than select that user. Go to the "trusted source" tab. Is there a number with an "H" in front of it? (H200 for example)

If so, that phone is lighting up when there is a message in teh hunt group mailbox.

Banked call?

Message waiting can come from several sources. Usually they are stacked at the phone and you can keep pressing message until they are all displayed. Have the person down the hall pick up the phone when you ring it, or look for the message cancel code and get that message off your set. If it clears, that was the only one and you have no voice mail messages.

Can't switch from voicemail to incoming call without losing messages.

Probably not, but the voice mail extension is still a dialable number. Try 500 or 165 or asking whoever installed it what the extension is.

It will prompt you the same as if you had pressed the MESSAGE button, only there will not be any new messages. You just have to play the OLD messages and you'll hear them.
