Trying to load mp3 from computer to leappad ultra

I am trying to figure out if I can take songs from a cd or an mp3 file and put it on the leappad ultra. Right now my daughter is in Frozen (from disney) and we have the audio cd but she wants us to listen to it over and over in the car. This would be a good way to avoid some headaches if it is possible. I am suspecting it isn't since I can't see the ultra when it is plugged into my computer.

New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Turn off the Mp3 off then plug it into the computer. If it doesn't work keep it on and try it that way.

SOURCE: putting songs onto it

You might not have a type of file that is supported by your mp3 player. I use online converters and change them all to wma because our players can play that and they are smaller than mp3s.

SOURCE: loading mp3 files to garmin nuvi 350

The device is not recognizing the file name. The Garmin GPS will only recognize MP3 files. Ipod (MP4) and other media files will not play. Converting the files to the MP3 format will correct the problem.

Use Windows Media Player to transfer songs and rip songs from CD to this player - the help files below will be WAY more helpful than the Philips manual (but, just in case, you can get the manual by going to www.usasupport.philips.com):

The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

Sony nwz-610 series 2 gb Mp3 player

the figure that is given for songs you can load to your MP3 player are calculated using 128Mb/s for 3 min songs. But the amount of memeory occupied by each song depends on the bit rate (KB/s) and the duration of the song (time in sec). So if are going to load songs with a longer duaration and want to load more songs then load them with reduced bit rate.

However note reducing the bit rate of your songs wilol also compromise the quality of your songs, it will be good too use variable bit rate setting a low bit rate like 64-96Kb/s.

To convert your songs you can try using Easy CD-DA extractor convertor it offers a variety of output formats at different bitrates and qualities.
