Question about Haier BC112G Wine Cooler

Open Question

Haier HVTM08ABS User Manual noise

Lower rear fan has intermeten loud noise. Sounds like fan is vibrating or rubbing against something. Cannot determine how to repair. Also, second unit which is identical has never chilled even when temp gauge shows 476 degrees. The units rear fan filter is slightly dirty but not excessive. I have cleaned that filter.

Have someone check the run capacitor of this unit. If the run capacitor is bad over shorted it can cause the unit to run and short cycle on a current overdraw. This makes for an electrical imbalance in the compressor motor. Next step is the compressor is faulty.

SOURCE: THE UNIT DOES NOT COOL ANDY COLDER THAN ROOM TEMPERATURE.

does the compressor run ? if so you could have a low refrigerant charge, a sealed unit resrtiction, leak or defective compressor.

Replace the thermostat and/or bad control board. If you don't have electronic repair skills then it would be cheaper to go buy a new one then hire someone to repair it.

I replaced the lamp and the projector is make a very loud buzzing noise. How do i remedy this problem?

There may be a fan rubbing against a cable or something, but more than likely there is a vibration damper clip that has come loose off of the colorwheel and will have to be fixed by a technician.

Loud buzzing noise coming from the freezer motor like something is stuck or hitting...possibly a fan...possibly the compressor...

Sounds like pipe vibration, you will need to take a cover off if there is one to get to the compressor. Check to make sure no pipes are rubbing against each other first, you can bend them apart carefullt, watch out for a hot pipe from the compressor. Also check to see if there is a cooling fan for the compressor, make sure all fittings are tight etc, If the noise is still there call a refrigeration technician.

Loud vibration sound coming from rear bottom near motor? sounds like my porter cable compressor running.

HI. Just so you know, Hissing and popping is normal on frost free refrigerators, it is the defrost heater, in this case. I would check these following areas to address any other abnormal noises.

If the level of the unit is not adjusted to proper specs, this will create an unstable operating condition, causing many noises to emit from the units structure. inspect the unit for proper level. adjust if needed. Next will be the drain pan. Once removed for cleaning, the pan must be replaced in position correctly. If not, the pan will rattle against the compressor, causing a ping or rattle.Simply reposition the tray if this is the case. The third possible issue will be the condenser fan. The condenser fan is located behind the refrigerator. It may be necessary to remove an access panel to reach it. This fan has a shroud, and if the fan blade becomes warped, it will rub against the shroud, causing noise. This fan blade is whole, and it can be removed and replaced if this is the case. Ok, the fourth problem spot will be the evaporator fan.

The evaporator fan is located at the back of the freezer. It may be necessary to remove obstructions such as the contents of the freezer, freezer shelves, ice maker and the rear inside panel of the freezer. The rear panel may be held in place by retainer clips or screws. Remove the screws or depress the retainer clips with a small screwdriver. Check the fan for warped blades. if the blades are warped or mis-aligned, replace it. This fan also is protected by a shroud as well, and it will make noise if the fan blade is damaged.

Last, i would move on to the compressor mounts. This is the most common spot for noise overtime. The compressor sits on rubber mountings. Those rubber mountings are designed to absorb vibration from the compressor. As the mountings age, they can become hard or disintegrate. When this happens, the compressor vibration is transmitted to the refrigerator structure and it can cause noise.

The compressor is located in the rear. It may be necessary to remove an access panel to get to the compressor.

Locate the compressor and remove the screw or retaining clip of just one of the compressor mounts.Using a pry bar, lift up the compressor enough to slip out the rubber mount. Inspect the mount for deterioration. The rubber should be firm but not rigid. If the mount is crumbling or hard, it should be replaced.

This concludes the inspection procedure. Follow carefully, and replace any failed or damaged device.

My fridge fan is making squeeking sounds, how can

That depends on where the fan is located and what is causing the noise. If the fan has shaft play and is rubbing against the housing around it then it needs to be replaced. But if something is loose below refrigerator or inside the rear of the freezer we need to resolve the problem because if it should become worse you could be without a refrigerator until repaired. Optoma ep716 continuous loud vibration noise when turned on.

the fan motor could be failing. turn it on with the top off. if one of the fans is moving slower, that'd be the one. since this is a dlp projector, the colorwheel motor berings might be on their way out as well. both need replacement.
