SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Brother HL-4040CN won't read or show new refilled cartridge in the LCD

I think I know what the problem is...
When you refill these toner cartridges you need to reset the "toner empty" cog wheel.
For instructions on how to do this follw this link:
http://www.proprint.co.uk/brother_hl4040.htm
It has pictures and explains how to reset the cartridge
Good luck,
Billy.

SOURCE: Brother HL-4040CN successfully installed but shows offline

I assume it's turned on and connected to the router.
Sometimes with DHCP, the IP address on the printer will change. I end up going into the router table to see what IP addresses are assigned where. Invariably I'll find my network printer has changed. Find the printer and write it down.

In Windows, Go into Printers> choose the Brother and right click to check Properties. Look for Ports and change the IP address as needed. It will come back online.

SOURCE: Difference between Brother HL-4040CN and HL-4050CDN printer

HL-4040CDN supports BR--Script (like Postscript) and
HL-4040CN does not.
So, there is a "postscript" diver for the 4040CDN, but not for the 4040CN.

Can someone please help me i have just printed off 400 prints with my brother hl 4040CN laser printerits brand new and its now saying my cyan toner has ran out this is impossible i am right in the middle...

Your toner usage will depend upon how much of each color toner is used on each page. (To conserve colors when printing in Black and White only, specify monochrome in your printer setup) <div>I had similar problems when printing publicity flyers. The toner cartridges claim to be good for about 2000 prints each, but I was lucky to get 3 or 400 pages when printing blocks of color. The TN115 cartridges hold significantly more toner, and the cartridges that come with the printer are TINY.</div>

I have a 5 month old Brother HL-4040cn. It no longer prints crisp pictures. They look screened as for a newspaper. All ink is fresh, all internal services are at or near 100%. Ideas?

There is a setting in these which produces this effect - draft printing? Something like that. In the PC printer software somewhere there should be a screen which allows you to choose the type of print you want. It may be available when you want to print. For images the quality should ALWAYS be 'Normal', or high quality.

When printing i am getting red blotches Brother hl-4040cn

I had this same problem when printing photos. Go into printing preferences, then the Advanced tab up top.....make sure "Color Mode" has NONE selected. That lets the program you are using do the color management.

Hope that helps!!
