Question about Maytag Dishwashers

Open Question

A technician came out on a service call this previous Friday, 2-7-14 regarding a Maytage Dishwasher at 891 Exeter Turn Apt C-1 in 60901. The service person informed her that she was experiencing the same problem with the same part as before. Can someone please reply as to why we are experiencing the same problem and provide remedy to us at peachangexl@aol.com or 317-902-1449. Thanks, Debra Benn

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: lg dishwasher lds 5811st E1 error code

Hi Chaz,

The impeller breaks on the motor shaft. The motor still turns, but the impeller doesn't, so it doesn't pump water. Because the machine senses there is no water pressure from the pump, it shuts down & displays E1 (it thinks there's a water leak, due to no pressure)
Unfortunately the motor/impeller is only available as a complete assembly

Hope this helps

SOURCE: We have a Miele dishwasher

Hi,
There are several causes in dishwashers that make dishes come out with film on them or something of the sort. Here they are.
1 Water temperature should be 140 degrees. Your dishwasher should have a "sani" cycle that heats up the water into that range.
2 Most dishwashers were never engineered for liquid soap. So if you are using it, go to powder soap.
3 A rinse agent is definitely a big plus
4 In some parts of America, such as Florida, lime deposits build up in the machine and accumulate onto the dishes and glasses. It's a white film. It also accumulates in the parts of the machine and clogs them. If this is the case. Run white vinegar in the machine.
Empty the machine.
Turn it on.
While the machine is filling with water, (not at the very very beginning as it will drain out existing water when it is started) put a quart of vinegar in and run it. If it has lime deposits it will greatly reduce them.

5 The spray arms may be jammed with pieces of food or other debris. make sure the holes in the arms are not obstructed.

That should do it.
Best, Mark

Maytage dishwasher not running, clean light blinking

the maytag control panels are known to have issues. the problem is they are not sealed properly and over time steam gets in and eventually it shorts. it is fairly easy to change, but you should have it diagnosed by a qualified technician to know for sure. good luck! http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/w10380486/0022/665.html

My danby model dpac90061 plugs in and wont turn on

Hi There,
I have just spoken to one of our technicians and he said that if the there is a red blinking light that usually means that the bucket or drainage system is full. If that is not the issue, it could be a malfunction in the touch pad. If the issue is not the bucket, please contact our customer service department regarding repair. (1-800-26-Danby) We are available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4pm EST.

Thanks!

Need to reset the program of our maytage neptune TL ver: FAV6800AWQ

""need to reset the program of our maytage neptune TL ver: FAV6800AWQ ""

The only hard reset to the Control Board is to unplug your FAV6800A from the 120VAC service outlet then reconnect.

I feel this will not clear your machine issue. What do you mean by reset the program of our maytage neptune TL?

My maytage legacy 300 quite series does not turn on. Looks like the led screen is not working properly.

When I close the door on my 300 and press the wash cycle all the lights turn on. When I press start I get a blinking time indicator and then it shut off.
