I am assuming that you have removed the base to unjam the drawer, and a brown plastic lever fell out of the white assembly inside and you can't work out how to put it all back so it works. It took me three days to figure it out.
On the inside of the base is a long coiled spring. First hook this back over the end of the central drawer runner. Have a ruler or similar flat item handy to release it later.
Take the body of the cash register and insert the narrow end of the brown plastic lever through the white plastic assembly, until it engages with the handle mechanism. You will then feel resistance when turning the handle. There is a flat metal strip in the middle of the assembly. On the side of the brown lever is a small projecting peg. Put this behind the metal strip. Put the thicker end of the lever through the rectangular gap in the white assembly.
Place the drawer into the body of the cash register so that the back of it engages with the V shaped notch on the plastic lever.
Hold the drawer and body together with one hand and carefully lower them on to the base. While there is still a small gap under the drawer, insert the ruler to release the coiled spring. This will engage with the projection under the drawer.
Push everything together and replace the screws. Job done!

I have a DeLonghi Magnifica machine and had a similar problem where the door would pop open itself during the brew cycle. I figured out that there is a movable funnel on the inside of the door (part Z in my manual called a mobile drawer) that was sticking and needed to be cleaned. I had to remove two screws on the top of the door to remove this assembly, then soak it in water to loosen up the coffee deposits. After a thorough cleaning the mobile drawer no longer sticks and the door no longer opens by itself.

Be careful to make sure that you do not lose the little spring mechanism that keeps the mobile drawer in the correct place. I took pictures to make sure I knew how to put the unit back together again. Best of luck.

If the ball bearings fell out, you have to put them back in one half at a time. The thing that houses it is half the size of the length, so put the top one in at the left and the bottom one in at the right and then you can push them together once they're in.
