What Make, Model is the printer? Is it wireless? Do you have a Home Network? There are ways to setup a wired printer on a home network, if you have the printer connected to another computer on your Home Network.

How do i make my x543 wireless

You can find a User Manual here: http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=product&locale=en&productCode=LEXMARK_X543&segment=SUPPORT&userlocale=EN#3 I could not find that it has Wireless capability. You can set it up as a Network Printer on a Home Network. Use this procedure: http://www.trainsignal.com/blog/how-to-setup-a-small-home-network-part-2 OR, http://www.ehow.com/how_8038760_setting-up-wired-printer-network.html Once you have it setup as a Wired Network Printer Share the printer that way you can connect Wirelessly to ALL computers on your Home Network. All computer must be in the Home Network and the Computer the Lexmark is connected to via a Hardware printer cable must be turned on to print Wirelessly. CAN THE DELL AIO 948 PRINTER BE USED FOR SHARING

Yes, If it is connected to a computer on your home network, right click the printer, setup sharing. For example, if you have a laptop on the same home network, Add a network printer to the laptop and print wirelessly without a wireless printer. This may help clarify: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Install-a-printer-on-a-home-network OR http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Install-a-printer-on-a-home-network

Using brother printer on airport express

Have you set uo a home network? Do you have your printer sharing with your home network? your printer, Brother MFC-6890cdw, is not wireless, is that correct? You can print through a Home Network, wth a sharing Printer, but the printer must be compatible with Apple Air to print with Apple devices. That said, you can download a App for E-Print on the Ipad. It can be done with exceptions.

I took my printer home from my workplace and i want to use it at home it is telling me it is offline it is adcp 585cw wireless

Hi,

You have to check whether your printer was set up as a network printer or just a one to one printer in your workplace.

If it is a network printer, please check with your IT administrator whether it was set up with a fixed IP or using dynamic IP. After get these details, just set it up same as in your home network.

How do I set it up for wireless

Install a printer on a home network The most common way to install a printer on a home network is to install it as a stand-alone device on the network, and then add a connection to the printer on each computer that is on the network.
If you're not sure what type of network printer to install, decide if you want to:
  • Use a wireless printer. These printers use a built-in wireless card and plug into a power source, not your network or computer. After you turn on the printer, you need to refer to the information that came with the printer to set up a wireless connection to each computer on a home network. Security options for wireless printing are determined by each printer manufacturer.
  • Connect a printer directly to the network. To do this, you need to plug in the printer to your network hub or router. How to install these printers depends on whether the printer and your network device use an Ethernet, universal serial bus (USB), or another type of connection. You also need to refer to any installation information or tools provided by the printer manufacturer.
  • Connect more than one printer directly to the network. To do this, your hub or router must be able to support more than one printer connection.

I am trying to access an HP 1200 psc over a home network

Have you set up the printer to be shared via the network? You can usually set this up in printer options, through control panel. If the wifi is a closed network, so much the better. That way, nobody else can use the printer. You should be able to do this easily, as long as both computers are connected to the wireless network.

Wireless printer

Hi,

HP PSC 1410 is neither a Wireless nor a Bluetooth printer. This printer will not support to any network application, but HP PSC 2410 supports. So do not confuse between 1410 and 2410.If you want this printer to be shared in the home network, then thats possible. Also if u have print server that supports USB printer we can achieve connecting this printer in the network.

Do u have any other PC that is connected to the same Home Network?
Please let me Know.

Thanks
Riz.
