Question about Foxconn 975X7AB-8EKRS2H Motherboard
I have a Intel Quad Core 2.4 GHz processor on this board, with a Radeon HD2900XT Graphics Card and 1GB 800MHz Kingsmax Ram. When I power the machine up everything seems to be booting up, and all fans running, but no display on screen. The Power Supply used is 500W. I have tried to connect up the 8 pin ATX 12V Power connector to the CPU, with a 4 pin power plug as indicated in manual, but then the PC does not start up at all. Only LED's on for a split second and then Auto Off.
What could be the problem? I have already changed the graphics card with at Nvidia 8500GT, but still the same effect. I have 2 off exactly the same PC's build up, and both giving the same problem.
Yes this motherboard accepts the quad core i use it, but the power supply is underrated for the quad core you will need somethng a bit more meatier I would suggest at least 700-800

Not 100% sure this MB takes the quad core processor.. Have you tried it with another skt775 one?
