Question about Lincoln Welding Tools
I have an old Lincoln idealarc cv 400.the machine fires up but there is no power to the 115v wirefeeder.there is a fuse on the front of the machine,before the wirefeed,that I cant get electricity to.

The machine is probably taxing the capacity of the power circuit and it's breakers. While the machine may be pulling less than 50 amps average, the high frequency modulation is likely producing peaks over 50 amps. Changing out the 50 amp breakers might help and again may not. The whole circuit should be rated at least 25% over expected current draw. The grounding system is to protect you, not the machine. Good luck!
