SOURCE: The sub woofer wire inside

If you look on the circuit board that the big black heat sink is attached to, there are two output amp chips (integrated circuits) attached to it. IC7 is the sub output amp. Next to that is a white jack with two pins sticking out, labeled J9. J9 is where you plug your sub into.

I am trying to find the specs for the power LED for a Simmons DA200S amplifier.

Go to an search for the LED that you are looking for. Color, diameter, clear, etc and you should have enough info to find something close to what you are looking for. The brightness and color may be a little off from the original but most will work. Note: If it has wire leads it is "through hole"(search in mouser for standard LED - through hole)
Good luck!

M-Audio AV20 smells like burnt

Yes, it is possible to burn an IC and not the fuse, because of Safety standards, the fuse has the function to avoid a possible fire, but it should deliver all the power needed by the circuit it is protecting, and that amount of power can burn, in this case, the IC.
From my technical point of view, there should not be a problem to connect the speaker to 110 V instead of 220 V, all that might happen is to have less power available at output, I have no idea about the reason of the burnt IC, but, as we all know, they (the IC's), don't need a reason to burn themselves whenever they decide to.
So, the next step, will be to replace the burnt IC, and that is not a simple task, you need a SMD station and some experience in doing such jobs.
Good luck and best wishes.

Simmons SD9K control panel only lights up

Mine and a whole lot of others did the same thing with the SD9K Simmons kit. I called Simmons, they sent me a new power cord...that obviously didn't work. Then they said to wait on a new drum module...that never came. It's been 2 years and now they say they have no records of ever talking to me or sending me the power cord!!! Horrible product, horrible customer service. Whatever you do...don't put any more money into Simmons...only go with Roland!! Trust me on this one!! Me and about 3 others I know waisted $900 on Simmons and we are all paying the price now. So, to answer your question, you need to buy a $300-$400 new module!! Ridiculous!

Korg c800

In the past, whenever I needed a specialized replacement cord (as an electrical engineer) I went to this company:
North American and International AC power cords and cord sets from... I have been able to find anything I ever looked for, and I see they have no minimum order. Another alternative is to find a local Goodwill or consignment store and browse through their older electronics (and hot plates and such). Old stuff sells so cheaply it's worth it just for the cord.

My europower pmp 2000 powered mixer wont turn on and the fuse appears good. I turned it on and it immediately turned off ,nothing smells burnt. any ideas on what it could be

This is likely a power supply failure, possibly brought on by a failure of one of the amp channels.

This is probably close to your supply:

Scroll down to "get manual" and click on that to download schematic. Ignore other download links.

I have a Marshall head mg100hdfx. It was pluged into a outlet that had been wired wrong. The amp came on and worked for about 5 seconds and then went off and will not do anything now.I took it apart and...

Unless the receptacle was wired with 240 volts, NO DAMAGE would be done. First thing to check is to turn amp on and use an ohmmeter to check for some continuity between the blades of the plug. Common problem is that the power input cord doesnt seat fully where the cord attaches to the amp.
Here is your schematic:

Scroll down to "get manual" and click on it. Ignore other download links. A fuse cannot always be visually checked. They sometimes fail mechanically and loose fuse clips are common problems. Do the contiuity check. The transformers rarely fail, so don't let an incompetent tech tell you it is bad.

DO NOT try to use it until it is repaired or you may do further damage. Probably a capacitor shorted or a diode in the power supply. This is NOT DIY unless you are competent at electronic repair. When it is appeared to be restored, put a 150 watt lamp in series with the power cord to limit current till you know it is repaired... saves fuses and destroying further components if there are other parts that are bad.
