Question about Computers & Internet
My laptop keyboard is slow to respond. Sometimes, i have to hit a key several times before it responds. Can anyone help?
I would first try updating drivers here: yourhttp://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriversHome/ShowProductSelector. Make sure to only use genuine Dell & Microsoft drivers. If that doesn't help, it may just be that the key's contacts are wearing as it is an older model. I would try plugging in a USB keyboard, and if it works better, then your keyboard is just wearing out. You should be able to find a replacement here: http://www.redplanettrading.com/. They specialize in Dell parts, or on Amazon or eBay. It should only be held in with a couple little screws, easy job.t

click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
