I ordered an item on paypal and the seller will not respond to my e-mail to return the item.

It happens sometimes

may be the got heaps of email to answer or person is sick.
If it's more than 5 business days contact Paypal customer service and they will help you out with that.

My name is Gilberto Rodriguez I made a payment (Pay PAl) for item 380070290438 (Beatles for Sale Mini LP, CD) aprox 2 days ago to larisa.rem@gmail.com now I received from her a note explaining she can't take this money ($19.99) in Russia because they only have there one type of "Pay Pal" called "CCNOW), then I sent a payment last night to CCNOW as she instructed, and I received the receipt of this second transsaction # 38693948SF3372829...BUT IS A SECOND PAYMENT I MADE. Can you tell me what to do now? I must to cancel my first payment witn the regular Pay Pal? Because I don't want to paiy twice for this item. most ebay items are guaranteed to get to you. If not, they have to pay you back your money when you dispute it. If the used UPS ground or Fedex, you should have a tracking number where you can register with them for free and track the item yourself. If they used regular postal shipping, it will take about 2 to 21/2 weeks to get to you. But don't worry about it. At ebay they have solutions . you won't be robbed.

Hi,

It takes 5-10 working days for them to process it. The amount shows refunded because Paypal refunded the amount to the bank but that doesn't mean that the amount is updated on your Debit Card.

The ball is in Bank's court. What i have seen it would be updated within 2-3 working days but some banks would take more time to update the amount.

Note - I am taking into consideration that you have entered all the correct details in the Paypal account.

You can contact the Ebay Customer support and lodge a complaint against the seller. Ebay will try to get in touch with the Seller and provide you the details. Ebay will take necessary action against the seller (if found guilty) which may result his account suspension with Ebay.

Even if your item is not shipped your payment is protected by Paypal Buyer protection plan.

When did it happens? You must act fast. Contact rspears mail immediately do not accept the payment/transaction from paypal. And also request to sent back/cancel the transaction. Contact paypal to cancel that transaction which wrongly sent. Paypal will help you.

Having ordered a set of seat covers on the 2cnd of July i am a little concerned that i have had no contact from the compony concerned having taken the money from my account


I suggest you contact the company involved by e-mail asking where your items are. If they don't respond you can contact PayPal and proceed to a claim for the cash back. Paypal will contact the seller to see if they are going to supply or sort it out and if they don't will refund you.

According to the Paypal process when you file a claim for an item that is significantly not as described, you must return the item at your cost in order for Paypal to issue a refund for the amount you paid, not the return shipping costs. You have 10 days to provide Paypal with a tracking number. Paypal doesn't allow you to post a reply. You send the item back or in 10 days the claim is closed.
Buyers are being forced to pay to received goods the seller didn't described accurately, and in some cases, honestly.
I think that is wrong.
When you can prove that an item is significantly not as described, then Paypal should refund your entire costs of the item including shipping both ways. Sellers can take advantage of Paypal's forcing buyers to pay for return shipping.
If a buyer doesn't like something or changes their mind, and wants to return it, then the return shipping should be paid by the buyer.

How do i return items bought ebay


Before you return, make sure you and seller agree and understand all the terms of the return. Even if you know the return policy by heart, confirm it with your seller. Make sure you know exactly what your refund or compensation will be. Most sellers do not refund shipping and handling charges, so don't ask for them, unless you believe the item has been grossly misrepresented. Even then, don't press the issue. Most sellers WILL refund your return cost if they've made a mistake. Even if the item IS misrepresented and you file a claim with PayPal, PayPal will require you to return it at YOUR expense before issuing a refund to you, so you have NOTHING TO LOSE by being polite and coorporative.

PACK YOUR RETURN SAFELY, even if your item is non-breakable. Any poorly packed item could be damaged in shipment. How would a seller know that it wasn't YOU who damaged the item and not the shipper? Even if the seller knows it was the shipper's fault, you have now given the seller the perfect opportunity to reneg on issuing a refund. You always have the option of going to eBay or PayPal for a refund, but your goal is to get your money back, and hopefully your return shipping too, so don't be hasty. In the box with the return include: your name, address and EMAIL, the eBay item number, date you purchased it, what method you used as payment, the amount you expect to be refunded to you, and how you have agreed the refund is to be issued. It makes it easier for the seller to trace and issue a refund, especialy if the seller transacts multiples of identical items.

CONTACT THE SELLER to let him/her know when the return was mailed, via what shipper, and about when it should arrive back. If there is a tracking number, provide that to your seller. If you've created a label through USPS and give USPS the seller's email, USPS will send the seller the tracking number automatically. Easier for everybody. DO NOT send back the item WITHOUT a tracking number. You don't want the seller to claim he didn't get the item back and thus refuse your refund. And if you go to PayPal for the refund, you're screwed. No tracking, means no washy.
FOLLOW-UP in the appropriate amount of time to see if the seller has received the return. If the item has been lost or delayed in shipment, it is YOUR responsibility to track it down. A short email will do: e.g. "Just checking to make sure you got those brown Ferragamo pumps, item number (xxxxxxxxxx) back. Let me know, thanks." Even if the tracking number shows the item has been returned, this is still a good idea. Some sellers get many returns a day and you don't want yours to get neglected.

Once you have received your refund, CONTACT THE SELLER to thank him/her and mention you would appreciate a positive feedback if one has not already been left. Even if you know you'll never trade with your seller again, say you look forward to doing more business. Keep stroking your seller until your glowing feedback is left. Once that's done you can go into eBay's community chat and spread the word about the seller's bad business practices, report to Safe Harbor, or anything else you feel appropriate. You goal is to GET YOUR MONEY and GLOWING FEEDBACK FIRST, before you do anything to get even.

Need to return an item


Normally, before returning an item, you should contact the seller first and tell him/her that you are not satisfied with the item and you want a refund. Do not tell the seller that you want to return the item (not just yet). Just go ahead and file a dispute and then the seller will be requesting for the return of the item on dispute. Only then will you be talking about who should pay for the return shipping (which is usually included in the sellers return policy). Oftentimes, it's the buyer who pays for the return shipping.

Can you track this order


you can ask the seller if they have a tracking number for the item you bought...i see in the auction it was suppose to be sent usps priority mail..if they did it through paypal the tracking number will be displayed in your my ebay page in item bought/won...if its not there, they didnt ship it through paypal but went to the post office the mail it

check your won items page..if the tracking number isnt there...email the seller and ask for a tracking number...usps priority mail only takes 2-3 days to arrive

DVD magnetinc (111283) A seller on eBay did not honor their buy it now price. I purchased two separate items that were sent separately in the US Mail ( A lie I believe) because both separately mailed DVD's...


You need to put in a dispute through EBay against the seller and include a copy any emails sent by him and yourself. Also if you have paid by Paypal you need to raise a dispute there as well. The reason for the Paypal dispute is that it will then place his account with them in restricted mode which will mean he is able to receive money from people but will not be able to withdraw it until the dispute is settled.
