Mazda 5 SUV/van brake light assembly replacement

This is easy and takes maybe ten minutes. You need a phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Open the hatch and remove two screws at the back of the brake light assembly. Pull the light assembly hard straight backward until the little pop-clip holding the front end of the light lets go. (This is the hard part, because there aren't any great places to grip the light and the front end pop-clip is stubborn.) Then unscrew the bulbs from the broken assembly (don't touch the bulbs or the slight oil from your fingers will make them explode when they heat up - use surgical gloves if you think you can't help handling the bulbs). Gently remove the wiring harness from the NEW light assembly and discard it. Push the existing wiring harness into place in the new assembly and screw the bulbs in. Line up the assembly's pop-clip to the front end screw that it pushes onto, and push hard from the back until it pops on. Have a helper lean into the light from the side to line up the two screw holes at the back, and put the screws back in. Use a pair of pliers to unclip the rear baffle from the broken light (two clips), then pop the baffle onto the new light.

Replace rear wiper assembly

The wiper arm has a cover on the left end that pops up after gently spreading the two bottom sides apart. That allows the arm to swing out for cleaning the window or replacing the blade.
The wiper blade assembly attaches to the end of the arm . It is pressed in and will pop out with a little force rotating the left side away from the arm. It pops back in with a little push. The arm remains attached to the rotating shaft assembly.
I believe you can then replace just the rubber blade and not the whole blade assembly, if that is your fancy.

Winchester model 1200 action stuck open

You have to make sure the hammer on the trigger group is cocked and then you have to make sure the slide arms are in the cutouts on the bottom of the bolt assembly.
You assemble the trigger group to the receiver by carefully working the front end of the trigger group into the slots at the front end of the receiver. Then gently push the rear end of the trigger group down into position. This should go in easy if everything is lined up--don't force it.
Then install the trigger guard pin from right to left until its flush with the receiver.
I took all the above from the pdf manual I have for the model 1200 that I found online. The pictures would help (page three). I'm looking for a link to the manual and will post it when I find it.
Here, its on page three of the manual: http://gunmanuals.net/Manuals/winchester_1200.pdf

2010 chrysler sebring brake light replacement

I had the exact same problem. After you take off the wing nuts there is one more piece holding the taillamp assembly in place. It looks like a little white plastic piece with a metal ball in it. In my complete laymans terms, its just a small metal rod that has a ball end. If you pull the taillamp assembly out enough that the screws are not in the metal body of the car, just pull the assembly with a little force towards the rear of the car. It should pop out. I found a video that shows exactly how its done. http://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2007_Chrysler_Sebring_Limited_2.4L_4_Cyl./lights/brake_light

The rear drum brakes:
  • Have internal shoes that expand against the brake drum (1126).
  • Are a single-anchor type.
  • Are actuated by one rear wheel cylinder (2262).
  • Have two pistons in the rear wheel cylinder (2261). One exerts force against the upper end of the primary shoe; the other exerts force against the upper end of the secondary shoe.
  • Adjust rear brake shoes and linings (2200) automatically.
  • Need manual brake adjustment if the adjusters are not operating properly or after the rear brake shoes and linings have been replaced.
When the brake pedal is applied, hydraulic fluid pressure forces the pistons in the rear wheel cylinder outward, moving the rear brake shoes and linings against the brake drum.
The rear drum brake system includes the parking brake mechanism. Refer to Section 206-05 .

89 toyota corolla rear drum brake problems.....

there should be three or four large nuts on the inside of the drum. now these nuts are on realy good so it takes a lot of force to get it off if you have trouble getting it off you should get an extender to help with the force. Now with the break fluid going every were it could be cause you broke the metal tube.that is easy to replace. just follow it up and undo it.

Changing inner drum

you must be fairly competent to have got this far! So! it now needs a bit of brute force. I assume you have removed the drive pulley? Now lay the unit down, 'pulley side uppermost', support the outer tub from the floor with a couple of bricks at either side to give floor clearance to the inner tub, use a piece of hard wood (to protect the shaft end) and give the wood a HARD BLOW with a 4 pound hammer. The shaft is just 'stuck' in the bearings. Dont mess around tapping the shaft end with a small hammer, you will only bruise the shaft end. As they WOULD say around here
