I need a longer power cord for my A/C that's mounted in the wall. The one that's on it is too short and will not reach outlet? It was already like that when I bought this place.?? Can I make one? If so does the black wire or white wire plug into capacitor? The other goes to fan control switch. Since the original power cord wire isn't color coded I don't know which (black&white) goes to what. Thanks a million if you can help.

I need an 1800 watt magnetic power cord for a deep fryer at least 30" long. Is there one?

No, Deep Fryers are dangerous so cords are kept purposely short to prevent accidents. Also 1800 watts draws a lot of amps, so extending the cable can cause the cable to heat up. Move the fryer to an outlet, or have a new outlet installed where you want the fryer. Your island would benefit from extra built in sockets.

Hp photosmart printer touch screen froze

Follow these steps to reset the printer.
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Need an extension power cord for the TG5632

You can get up to a 25ft silver satin line cord for phone, or even an extensine cord. Or contact the manufactor about a longer cord.

Panasonic plasma flashing red light

Try disconnecting all of your HDMI cables and plugging the power cord of the TV into another wall outlet. If this resolves the issue, you may have had a small power surge from either your wall outlet or one of your source devices. It is recommended to connect your TV to a surge protector if you haven't done so already.

My 32inch lcd tv keeps flickering it started all the sudden

TRY THIS

    • 1 Turn the TV off with the front-mounted power button, not the remote. Unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet. Let an hour pass before plugging the cord back into the wall outlet. Turn the TV back on with the front-mounted power button and wait until it has fully restarted. Bring up a TV channel to see if the image being presented on the LCD screen is no longer flickering. A momentary power surge can cause the circuitry inside the LG-brand LCD TV to function erratically.
    • 2 Unplug the video cable from the video connection on the back or side panel of the LG TV. If more than one video cable is connected to the TV, disconnect all of them. Disconnect the other end of the video cable from the video source device that it's attached to -- a DVD or Blu-ray player, or a satellite receiver or cable box. Blow off the connections on the video source device and on the back or side panel of the TV with bursts of compressed air. Reinsert one end of the video cable into the video source device and the other end into the video input that it was connected to. Turn the TV back on with is remote to see if the picture is now free of flickering. A loose or partially connected video cable can cause the LCD TV's screen to flicker when presenting an image.
    • 3 Turn the TV off and unplug its power cord from the wall outlet. Place a power conditioner next to the wall outlet. Plug the power conditioner's power cord into the wall outlet. Plug the TV's power cord into one of the AC sockets on the power conditioner. Turn the power conditioner on. Turn the TV on to see if the picture is now free of flickering. The RF signals in the electric line that the LG TV is drawing power from can cause flicking through interference patterns being generated.

My display screen is rolling and nothing stops it. My computer says the printer is offline.

Try doing this procedure to correct the problem.

1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Unplug the power cord from any surge protectors or power strips.
3. Select a wall outlet to plug the product into. Test the wall outlet by plugging another electric appliance, such as a lamp, into the wall outlet and turning it on. Unplug the test appliance.
4. Plug the power cord into the back of the product.
5. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
6. Press the Power button to turn the product on.
7.Now check if its already working.

Power cord on my dryer to short to reach installed outlet. can i get an extension cord?

Never ever use an extension cord with any major appliance. You can however, purchase a longer cord (exact same, just longer) at your local hardware store and install it directly to the machine. Anyone who can install a ceiling fan could do this for you. It's pretty simple. You could also remove the one that is on the machine and bring it with you to make sure you get the exact same wire (just longer). :-)

Hope this info was helpful to you. Good luck!

Lcd television trips circuit breaker when plugged in to wall outlet. Problem started yesterday after wall mounting the unit.. Removed wall mount and it still happens (worked fine before wall mounting...

I would check 2 things. If the TV trips another breaker in the house of the same rating, you probably have a short in your TV and will need to have it serviced.(You didn't drop it did you? :-) ) The short may also occur by too much stress on the power cord where it enters the TV, common to need to cram the cord into small spaces when wall mounting. If the TV only trips that particular breaker, I would try replacing the breaker. Replacing the breaker costs very little and will only take you a few minutes. You can buy a replacement breaker at most hardware stores. Just make sure to disconnect the main supply first! Also, make sure the breaker is rated correctly, using a higher amperage breaker will increase your chances of starting a fire.
