If you can, try turning on the charger and checking output on the lead with a voltmeter. Is the notebook working direct from the mains?

Could be your connection inside the laptop itself.
They tend to go easily in gateways.
The wear and tear from plugging it in and out.
Cost approximately $70.00 - $100.00 to repair.

If you do not have either a manufacturer warranty or extended warranty from the retailer use it now. Contact them. Avoid telling them that you dropped the computer...you will void a manufacturer warranty. If you don't have either option then you can continue portability with an external laptop battery. They tend to be heavy, but they tend to provide 5 or more hours of portable use. The extended battery plugs into the same socket as your regular external power supply. I have included some links for product options.

Most likely its the DC Power Jack. Happened to me. You can find the part online by searching for "450ROG DC Jack" and then just resolder yourself or take it to a repair shop.
