Sounds like a fuel problem. Try running the atv with the fuel cap loose. If it runs ok you need a new (vented) fuel cap. If the cap isn't the problem, check the fuel filter (if equipped). Remove filter and blow through it. If it is hard to blow through, replace filter. Also, check for kinked or pinched fuel lines between tank and carbs, and also the vent hoses from the carbs (if equipped).

What is the pilot screw setting for a 2006 big bear 400 4x4

hi tommy the pilot screw setting for your big bear should be ( one and a half to two turns out..first turn the screw all the way in until it stops not force the pilot screw in .just turn it in until it stops with with light presure ..try that and see how you go ..i hope this helps you

Do the nut up until the wheel stops spinning, then back it of 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn, the nut should still be contacting the washer, fit the split pin from there, the wheel should spin freely.

Atv big bear 350 won't idle after cleaning

sounds like your mixture was leaned out because ur filter was cloged up ...making it run rich so was adjusted by screwing air screw out, now uv cleaned it, adjust it to make mixture richer by screwing back in until runs smotherly

Hi my tread mill has stopped working i could smell burning from the mortor and it was warm the seriel no is 200604 and the dc mortor model no gmd 118-1 its make is roger black can you help please

Dear Sir:
The problem can be various factors;
1) Lack of lube in deck belt( maybe is worn, and need replace)
2) The drive belt is worn, or break and need replace.
3) The main motor bearing is bad.
4) The main motor winding is burn and need repair or replace.
5) The rollers bearing is bad need replace and lube.

Take care of this, and take the step for repais in any Item

02 Big Bear 400- Hi-idle & backfires while running. Tried cleaning carb & air filter, drained bowl & cleaned with carb cleaner. Could there be aproblem with the choke.

Sounds like the carb could use a cleaning and setting by a professional...install a new plug and a new air filter.. AFTER the professional carb cleaning and setting.,,do this and repost
