Unable to connect to internet (0x84000003)

My dongle comes up with this message 3 out of 4 times that I try to connect to the internet. On the odd occasion it will connect to the internet fine. Try again the next day and the same problem of not being able to connect to the internet. Can you help?

Stop using Internet Explorer. It is not a safe or reliable browser to begin with. See this article.

Here are the steps:

  1. 1. Download and install Firefox. It is an amazing browser and is surprisingly light weight and safe. Download here.
  2. When Firefox asks you if you want it to be your default browser select "YES".
  3. Delete the shortcuts on your desktop to Internet Explorer and start using FireFox!

Did you use the software with the dongle to connect or from the connections section? You should use their sofware.

make sure the system is clean ... i see it everyday do this...

download MalWareBytes " malwarebytes.org get it install it ... upodate it full system scan .... use the trail version it wont expire you just have to manually update it ... i clean about 12 systems a day with this product....

Sometimes these types of issues are difficult to troubleshoot remotely (in this case, you've got 4 potential points to address: TV, dongle, router and ISP.)

If your TV and/or dongle utilize specific ports outside of the "norm," you may need to manually configure your router to allow for this.

Depending on the distance your AP/router is from the TV/dongle, the signal may not be strong enough. (Or, the signal coming from the AP may be present--you can confirm this with another wireless device--and maybe it's just the dongle itself has a poor range.)

Also, the dongle itself may be defective. Generally, there is some form of configuration that needs to be done, one way or the other, either on the computer, or on the TV itself (like a setup option).

Most likely, it's not an ISP-related issue.

Also, try to contact Sharp Technical support. They should be able to give you some recommendations that may prove helpful.

If all else fails, see if you can track down one of the dongles listed as being compatible in the TV manual, or find a dongle that's advertised as being compatible with your specific television, as that might be your best bet.

Not exactly sure of the question but Geovision does allow for many 3rd party IP cameras to be connected. Check the Geovision website for a full compatibility list. I have personally worked with Hikvision and Vivotek with no issues. You will need to purchase and install a dongle. The dongle comes with software that you will need to install before using the USB dongle. The dongles come in 1, 2, 4, 8 & 16 camera capabilities. There is usually no cost difference to buy two 2 camera dongles or one 4 channel dongle. So get whatever you need. Just be aware that is will look odd having 4 USB sticks protruding from your NVR. There are also some internal dongle options that connect directly to the motherboard.

The H0033 error is a known issue, but it is nothing wrong with your software or the physical dongle !
The issue is related to the Anti-Virus/Firewall software settings in your computer. This is why it can work on one computer and doesn't work on another.
There are unfortunately a lot of different firewall software products available on the market, so it is not easy to give exact steps to correct this for each and every available product. You need to tell your Anti-Virus program to allow the software to open.

Herewith is a way to change the settings on Norton 2008. If your are using a different Anti-Virus and understand the logic behind it, you should be able to change the settings:

Norton Internet Security 2008
1. Open Norton Internet Security 2008
2. Click on the Options link on the bottom left of the screen.
3. Click on Norton Internet Security from the drop-down list.
4. The Norton Internet Security Option screen will open.
5. Click on the Personal Firewall link on the left of the screen.
6. Click on the Program Control link.
7. Select the hasplms entry.
8. Change the Access drop-down list from Custom to Allow.
9. Click Apply then click OK.

Make sure everything is compatible for the type of wireless network you are using g/b/n and you are using the correct radio frequency. Also make sure you are using the correct wifi dongle for the make of your TV. From what I recall I do remember some of them being proprietary because the TV will have to have pre-loaded drivers for the wireless dongle.

The Acer Aspire netbook I bought has a switch on it to connect to the WiFi Internet G. If you want to use the dongle to communicate on the Internet, then first try to use the built in Wifi to install the driver for it.

3network mobile dongle wont work


Hi,
Three options:
1). Try another USB port on the PC / Laptop. I have discovered that some USB ports mess up sometimes.
2). Check if you have a firewall software on this computer (some of those that normally pops up with messages at the bottom-right of your screen saying things like 'Allow, Block, etc". If you have one of such, you may want to go into the setting and disable firewall briefly and test your Dongle again. If it now works, then Allow the Dongle in the firewall settings.
3). Uninstall the Dongle. Shutdown and restart your computer. Go to Program files and delete the folder where the program was installed. Then use the CD that came with your Dongle to do an install. Then finally connect your Dongle. Should work.

yes , n the name of the device is bluetooth dongle which can b easily connected through USB port and also u will get driver with tht dongle just intall it n thn connect ur phone .

secondly if ur question is u want to get internet access in ur mobile from pc then u must hv wifi modem of internet.
also u can access net in your mobile by using a software Gnubox and mRouter and bluetooth dongle in ur pc

If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If that works then the modem is working.
Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router.
You can set up the router without the CD also.
It is very easy.
