l couldn't find any information on the monitor scan number, but the remote that picks the different channels should be operating the control box, where the cameras are plugged in to. I've never had this type of unit, but I suspect that the control box picks each camera, and has to select that camera with its own remote, not the tv's, so re-enter your question with the system number, if different than scan#2297...etc., and perhaps we can find more information.
If you enter the unit's model number at Retrevo.com, you may be able to find a free .pdf manual- they have many.

Check the power supplies to the cameras and if that is not the issue and you unit has a built in hard drive, the hard drive might be bad.
