Sound not working properly on Jukebox

All lights up and works properly, however when its cold there is a loud humming over the top of the track when playing a CD. It does not seem to do it now when it has warmed up after 30-60mins or so. Any ideas?

SOURCE: CD player skips on early tracks

The lens assembly in a CD player glides along on a two rail track, kinda like a railroad track except tubular. The lens carriage is moved over this track by a small motor driving a worm gear. (Think long, tubular and spiral). If the rail tracks or the worm gear dry up or have dust accumulating on them, this could be the cause. Normally they have a light gear oil or lithium grease on them to keep them lubricated.

AT THIS TIME YOU ARE NOT SURE IF THE PROBLEM IS IN THE LASER ASSEMBLY, OR THE AMPLIFIER?
BORROW OR RENT, AN AMPLIFIER HOOK IT UP TO THE OUT PUT ON THE LASER OUT PUT ON THE LASER CD OUT PUT. LOOK AT LASER UNIT IT HAS A MARKING ON IT THAT SAYS AUDIO OUT PUT. PUT CABLE TO A SECOND AMPLIFIER.
THAT WAY IF IT STILL FADES. THEN THE CD LASER IS THE PROBLEM . IF THE SOUND IS GOOD THEN THE AMPLIFIER IS AT FAULT

Freezer side is making an extremely loud humming sound. Ice maker is working fine. No ice buildup anywhere in the freezer that we can see. Loud humming goes on for a few minutes each hour.

Hey Joanne, I appreciate your inquiry!

Based off my understanding the freezer side of your Frigidaire refrigerator is making a loud humming noise. The humming sound could be coming from your compressor. If the sound is a new development it may be a possible issue with the fan pushing further against the wall. You may need to seek help from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you from purchasing any unnecessary parts. Hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Disconnect the input and see if it hums in the absence of an audio source. A bad audio cable shield or unwisely-routed audio cables will allow entrance of unwanted signals from external power sources, magnetic fields, even dimmer-controlled track lights. Sometimes, simply reversing the orientation of the ac power plug can eliminate humming.

Your problem is either in the amplifier board (I can repair these) or the cable going to the cartridge on the tone arm (I stock these). When the machine is making the humming noise, unplug the cable from the tone arm at the top left side of the amplifier...If the sound goes away, I'd suspect the cable. If the sound continues, I'd suspect the amplifier board. Please fee free to email for more assistance, tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

Works but no heat or cooking

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Microwave not heating properly is caused by a power relay going bad, cold solder joint on the board and/or magnetron (this is only if it makes a loud hum/buzz sound). Also the door hooks and the door-release button should be checked. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

We have a k99 and the bubble work and light but the display doesn't lightup or work. We replaced the f4 fuse and it still will not work.

If the jukebox is not working and the display is blank then you have lost a voltage from the amp. It is either a fuse or a fault in the amp.
However if the jukebox works properly but is just a blank display it can be the cable (top left) into the computer, hanging out.

GU1500XTL loud humming sound during the cycle, getting louder

The run capacitor on the main wash motor needs replacing. Eventually it will just hum and overheat instead of rotating, so better replace it now before it overheats.

I doubt you can acces it easily yourself, as it may be away from the motor, and have to be tracked down.

Hum when attached to an external amp.

The simple soloution is to buy a "buzzstop" .Its a box with an input and output and eliminates hums, I bought it from a company in Ireland www.bluered.ie or you could try powering the jukebox and the amplifier from the same socket to see if its an earth hum
