So you are saying it leaks from the front ?? It would seem that the door gasket has a hole in it or the outlet hose has split. Take a torch and look at the bottom folds of the door gasket to see if there is a split in it. Switch off the power first!!!!then If not there bring the machine forward, tip it back against the wall (Put something underneath it in case it falls on you ) and use you torch to see where the water is coming from

Water leak at bottom of Whirlpool Estate washer. Removed the cabinet. No leaks from the water pump, hoses or inlet valve. The tub leans a little toward the front of the machine. When filling/rinsin

It is common on Whirlpool models for the water to splash out the top when filling especially when sheets or nylon cloth is loaded in the washer. Air fills the cloth and balloons the garment up this caused water to bounce off the garment and splash out the back. This is the most common reason for those mysterious leaks. Lowering the water pressure coming into the washer can help prevent this.

My whirlpool just started leaking from the bottom of machine onto the floor. This happens when the machine is OFF and no clothes in machine. Is it a switch

The drain hose has to be higher than the water level at its highest point. IF there is water coming into the machine when it is not running then you may have a bad water inlet valve. They develop leaks like any faucet or valve. It could be some other things too, like the voltage to the valves is not completely cutting off. There is also some water that stays in those machines because it cannot all be pumped out. What is the model number?

Kenmore Washer only leaking from one area

Ive never worked on a Kenmore but it may just be the overflow outlet. All washing machines have an overflow which will dump water out from the top of the tub if it overfills but sometimes on high fill water level, clothes can splash around and cause a "wave" of water to splash out over the overflow outlet. Check to see if the leak only occurs when you have selected high level fill.

My whirlpool duet front loader is leaking water? Not sure from where cause I havn't caught it in the act. But when I go in to get the clothes I have a puddle right under the front door. Cant tell if is is...

empty the washer. then remove the bottom panel of the machine.put some water in it and see if the water is leaking when it is filling or full.I have seen a small hole in the tub just behind the bottom counter balance where the mounting bolt goes you may need to use a small mirror to look under there.f94b104.jpg

Whirlpool fron loader washer leaks at the door

The water should be able to come up to the door level without leaking. Chances are you have build up on the bottom side of the glass on your door. If so take a razor blade and scrape the build up off. Your door will quit leaking.

Whirlpool fron load Duet washer leaks

Check the easy stuff first, fill hoses tight?- drain hose cracked? Failing those checks, cut a piece of cardboard slightly smaller than the size of your washer. Slip the cardboard under the washer and run a short load. Look carefully at the water mark on the cardboard. The mark on the cardboard the water leak will leave, will help you tell from which side or front to back the leak is common from. This will help point you in the correct direction to look for the trouble maker.

thanks.
