Question about Pioneer AVIC-F900BT Car GPS Receiver
What I'd like to do is take an IP-Bus cable and splice it with an Model: SXV200V1 Sirius Satellite Radio Tuner. I'm aiming for full control in-dash. Is this possible? What wires in each cable should bridged? I am aware of the Sirius/XM Pioneer IP-Bus box unit. I'm looking for a cheaper fix or if this is even possible. These are the links for each pin-out. SOURCE: iPod and Sirius hook up
allpioneer products need power and ground to operate. check the fuse on the yellow wire. if ipod is not plugged in, it will not show as a source on the pioneer head unit

The Avic N2 is only XM ready not Sirius ready like the N3, which is SAT ready(both XM and Sirius). If you must have your Sirius the only option left for you is use the rear input on the hide away unit but you won't have it on the touchscreen. There is one more expensive option by have your N2 hardware upgrade to N3, some Ebayer have that service offer for about $275. It's done by replace a surface mounted chip with 70 plus leads. That would take some expert de-solder and solder skill with a solder torch or
a tech's heat gun. I can do it but I don't know which chip it is. I have an immaculate N3 for sale on Ebay. Maybe you could sell your N2 and buy an N3. I usually get about $550-$650 for an N2 depend on the condition. Hope that I did some help. You can call me at 801-414-4566, I would do anything I can. Goodluck.

You will need extra amp(s) to run 5.1 surround sound using out IP-Bus at the brain to in IP-Bus at the processor and rca output to the multi channels amp(s) and control the surround mode which is automatically activate by the format of the disc. The IP-Bus cables is colored polarized at each end to inter connect all components. Just hook them in series follow the color you may add all the components you have. You can also down load wiring diagrams at pioneerelectronics.com. Goodluck.
