2004 waverunner i ran it one day with out any problem. then a week later it wouldnt roll over. pulled plugs sill nothing not even a click from starter. gauge reads 12.7 volts. took intake grate off and rolled it over with pipe wrench, was kind of stiff, not sure if thats normal. its in storage now and hadnt thought to see if the security mode came on, can this happen by itself?

Try jumping the waverunner using a set of jumper cables and your vehicle, this will rule out if the battery is bad. If you still have the same issue, check the connections. The connection at the starter or another place may have corroded a bit. Yet another option is to remove your spark plugs to make sure that your motor has not hydraulically locked. Once you have removed the plugs try and turn over the engine. You may need to ground out your plug wires if you have an electronic ignition to protect it. I hope this helps.

Switch to reserve tanke to check to see if there is a clog at the fuel pickup in the tank.
My friend had the same issue with his waverunner 3.
