I had this problem myself I even emailed Simens company but answer. First be sure your telephone company support this option then from main menu choose Setting then go to Base, In Base Settings select Add. Features option then Recall, in Recall there are different options from 80ms to 800ms Flash time delay (It depends on your phone company it works for me all the option above 120ms). Then click OK. During a conversation if you hear the short beep you have second call by choosing the right delay in aforementioned way and Clicking the R key at the left bottom on the phone you can easily switch back and forth between the calls.

The answering machine will kick-in and record the message, but then doesn not turn off after the caller hangs up. I've gone thru the manual and tried all I can - I've even tried resetting the base to factory default settings - but nothing seems to work. Help!

I bought a Siemans S455 Gigaset off an Ebay site and the tranformer has a annoying hum, please can you tell me where I can get a replacement? Siemans are not interested as it was bought from Ebay. Also, the tranformer for the slave base has the same issue, any ideas for the power supply for this one as well as it looks like it is possibly hardwired?
