My danby dehumidifier is suddenly leaking from the bottom .. I have a hose that runs down my drain in the basement .. It was all working great until a month ago .. now there is water leaking from...

Turn the unit OFF and unplug it. Disconnect the hose from the outlet on the unit. Using a plastic 18" Zip Tie, that will fit easily into the drain outlet, carefully insert the Zip Tie and insert it as far as you can. You will reach a bend in the tubing, so gingerly work it past that bend. Once the Zip Tie has reached as far as it will allow, start pulling it slowly back out, while rotating it. This will dislodge any clogs, so be ready for water to follow. It also would be wise, to clean out the tube or hole that drains into the bucket, as it may also have a clog in it.

Hope this helps you to solve the problem, Joanne.

My Danby dehumidifier leaks out of the bottom. Water not draining into the tank but around the tank therefore out of the bottom between the tank and the dehumidier itself

The drain tube or hole that drains into the bucket is probably clogged.

Turn the unit OFF and remove the bucket. Look in the cavity where the bucket was removed for a drain tube or drain hole. Using an 18" long plastic Zip Tie or something similar (No wire coat hangers) , that's appropriately sized to fit in the hole. Carefully feed the ZIP Tie into the hole or tube and thread it as far as you can. At some point the drain will curve, but you have to carefully get past this point. Once the Zip Tie has reached as far as it can, slowly pull it out while rotating it. This will loosen the clog. Once you have it half way out, be prepared for water to follow. This method should solve the problem.

My Danby Premiere DPAC 13009 is leaking water through the bottom. I have attached the continuous drainage hose, and no water is going through it. I tried to manually drain the tank using the drain at the...

Water is collected from cooling mode, not just dehumidifier mode. It does not always evaporate into the exhaust stream due to design limitations.

Of course the water should never leak even on the hottest day. Two suggestions:

Try removing the hose and attaching the external tank to see if it has any effect. Otherwise, you'll need to locate the exact source of the leak.

Danby upright freezer 1166w top and bottom shelves frosted in none on middle shelf could i have a problem

Probably there's a freon leak (refrigerant) that has to be fixed (remember this is a seal system and shouldn't leak)and then recharged.

Danby DDW496W Leaking Brand new

Check your hose connections in the back for tightness and sealing (there should be some rubber seals inside the screw-in connections) and if tight and not leaking, you might have a loose clamp inside the unit, or a leaking/damaged hose, or even a defective/leaking pump. If it is brand new and returnable I'd return it for a new one rather than try to fix it...
