Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Charging new phone

Just charged my battery on new RAZR V3.   Instructions recommend 24 hours but it charged in less than 12 hours.  Also, the phone was turned on and I didn't notice.    Any harm done?

It wont harm your phone they just recomend 24 hours to make sure the bat is ok and that it gets fully charged but remember to let your bat go totally flat from time to time this will prolong the life of your battery as it does them no good just keep topping it up so i sugest to let it go totally flat say once a month this will keep your battery lasting longer between charge hope this helps

My razr v3 died yesterday. tried all night charging, still dead. no juice to turn on. bought 2 years ago, worth new battery?

Well... I would say no.. Not worth battery.. I had the same thing happen to me where my phone wouldn't charge and we bought a new battery for $50.00 and then we find out my phone is shot.. so I would strongly recommend getting a new phone..

Just a suggestion, but if you leave your bluetooth runnung it wears out the battery faster, so you could try turning the bluetooth off when you dont need it to see if that makes a difference. It does on most phones.

Dead battery won't recharge

if it still new and you've still got the warranty then you should ask for replacement of the whole unit.
seems that the problem of your phone is the unit itself, the charging circuit migth have disorders/malfuntioning.
ever tried checking for the specifications and directions for charging the unit.
i greatly suggest that if you got the warranty still, have it replaced.
good day!!!

Moto Razr v3

If theres no problem with your phone charging on its original battery before you replace it. the problem lies with the new battery you purchase, just replace it, coz some batteries are due to factory defects.

Try charging it for at least 24 hours, I know a long time to wait, but it should work.

Phone wont turn on!

i have noticed that the mini plug for the charger and usb connection on RAZR V3 is sometimes sloppy. when the phone is charging it will definitely say battery charging on the external display and also flash the battery icon. i also noticed that the plug for the wall outlet is touchy.
make sure the plug is secure in the wall outlet
make sure the mini plug is secure in the phone
gently wiggle these connections if you have to till you get the battery charging message
if there are any connection problems there will be a unable to charge message instead.
