Question about Dryers
Just replace idler puller, sleeve drum, glides on top bearing and top bearing also. Had tub out and removed belt. Got it all put back together but have one small black screw left. Looks like a grounding screw but I can't find a place for it. Turned power on and shorted out, tripping circuit breaker. Don't know how to read wiring schematic so not sure how to track down the spot where I must have missed a ground. Don't have plug in dryer, but have three lines (2 hot and one neutral) wired into back of dryer. Don't think I mixed up the hot wires, and the neutral is silver, so think I got it right. Any ideas?
