Re: Ice is not ejecting
Sounds like the icemaker thermostat is opening too soon which turns the heater off. The easiest thing to do is replace the whole ice maker which I have seen pretty cheap on ebay. If you want you can test these part with an ohm meter. Check the heater for resistance. If it is ok then replace the module and thermostat.

If the timer piece you are referring to is behind the square white cover, and it's moving slightly back and forth, you should visually check the ice making area it's self to see if the ejector fingers are jammed with ice, or against the ice stripper. Ice Maker jams can be caused by reduced water pressure to the unit mainly from the water filter, your water filter in the toe kick should be replaced at an interval of 6 months to a year, regardless of filter status light. When water pressure is low, not enough water fills the unit and the undersized cubes can become lodged or stuck in the ice maker while being ejected, equally so if there is an over fill situation caused by other failures the ice maker can't eject at all. When you say "frozen" do ya mean that all the ice in the storage bin is one huge block of ice?? if yes all the ice is frozen together, that is caused by a malfunctioning water inlet valve that is not fully closing yet stays opena wee bit allowing water to seep into the storage bin and freezing all the ice together. To repair that the water inlet valve would need to be replaced. Its part number 2188542it could be picked up at your local appliance parts store or online at; searspartsdirect.com apwagner.com partselect.com apdepot.com repairclinic.com
these have to be in correctly to lock back in and allow the unit to function. Try removing the bin again and be sure there isn't any small pieces of ice trapped anywhere. Also make sure there aren't any broken pieces from the bin. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Your refrigerator is frosted up. Remove the inside panel of your freezer. Defrost the ice out of the coils and check the heater and bi-metal. If both are good then your defrost timer is bad. If one is bad replace and you have it fixed. Good luck.
