I just moved to France and brought my Juki TL-2010Q from the USA. I plugged it in with a European adaptor and it blew the fuse? Is it fixable? Where do I get a replacement fuse? Thank you! Suzanne

Did you mean an 'adaptor' (as in two-pin to 3-pin) or a transformer ?
It is a DIFFERENT electrical system in Europe to the USA.
The USA is 110v and Europe is 240 or 220v. The machine is
probably burned out. You would need to take it to a dealer to be checked. You can ONLY use USA electrical equipment with a TRANSFORMER, so that it can function on the different European electrical system. Good luck !

Can Singer 7258 Stylist be used in a Country like India with 220 - 240 voltage? Is there any UK model for the same?

the machine comes in two versions european {220-240v}
or american {110v}

you need to use a transformer to give 110-240v
the current this machine uses is less than 3amps
so a 3amp 110-240v converter is easily found on ebay for $10

I blew the fus/curcuit trying to change the light bulb in the dryer. Now it wont run .

Check the fuses inside the machine. If it is a European machine, there is usually a 13 amp fuse in the plug.

Convert US 220V to European 220V

all you need to do is to purchase a power converter also known as transformer that converts the European 220v to110 v, so that American appliances will operate on European current.

Can I use an American foot pedal on my Australian/European machine? Thanks

Probably not as the US one would be wired for 110 but Australian voltage is 240. And the foot pedal and power cable are usually all wired together as one unit.

I presume that your machine is a 240voltage machine? You'd need to order an appropriate foot control for it from the local distributor for your machine. Sometimes you can buy generic pedals too but the plug needs to match your machine.

USA 110 current Pfaff sewing machine plugged into 220 European current and will not turn on. Is this fixable? How?

Possibly damaged the motor... HOWEVER if you are lucky the damage MIGHT be confined to the speed control pedal. May even have a fuse inside...

Have a mig 135g wleder purchased online appears to have a european plug, can i convert it to a conventional plug

Yes, just make sure you follow up american colored codes.

European ground is stripes colored, the other two cables does not matter how you screw 'em down. (ground on top always).

Power cord exchangable

every electrical machine should have the required voltage printed somewhere on it. You never need to open it up to find out.

Look for something like 110/120 v or 220/240v
