Question about Interactive Health Ijoy 130 Massage Chair

Open Question

Hi. I have an Ijoy 130 and I can't get the roller to come back up. Motor runs and you see wheel turning on the motor, but the rod (or huge screw thing) that extends from the top of the chair to the turning thing on the motor is not connected. Is there a little part that has fallen off that connects rod to motor? Please help. Only had chair for about 4 years w/minimal use. thanks, gina

I have a interactive health massage chair model ems-9-s. when you turn the power switch on the back rollers run for 10 seconds or so and it stops. The power light is on in the controller but nothing will...

Hope it is still under warranty. Need new board and possibly more. My parents bought a similar chair and it failed with many issues to fix. Tech replaced all the electronics. Good luck.

Nitro pool cleaners

Remove the rubber cover on the large back wheel, take out the three screws and pull it away from the roller. Readjust the roller and put it back together. That is what was wrong with mine and I just fixed it myself. Thank goodness I tried that before sending it in for a new motor. Saved me a couple hundred dollars.

Motor making strange noise. How do you take apart a dirt devil featherlite bagged vacuum cleaner down to the motor. I can't get the red cover off the vacuum.

With most vacuums it's not necessary to completely dissassemble to the motor. Most rattles are either something stuck/jammed in, around the wheels and intake area. The rattle, if it's a knocking can also be the internal broken rod of the roller. Rollers can be purchased at hardware stores. Even Walmart and Target carry many models. There are screws in the back and front and guide tabs that the housing cover slips into in the front to remove the top cover as a last resort.

Try cleaning maintence 1st.

1) Unplug
2) Flip over and remove screws on the belt and roller face. Remove face-expose belt &brushes.
3) Slide brush out of grooves. If the belt makes you nervous, slide a large screw driver through it's loop to hold in place while you clean the roller.
4) See if the belt is in good condition free of cracks or tears. If it needs replacing, it slips over the motor spindle for simple change outs. The belt and roller part number should be listed on the vacuum if you look atround. Usually on a metallic plate installed during manufacturing.

You can take a 4' length of old garden hose and listen through it to the outside of the motor while running to see for sure if the noise IS coming from the motor, or infact it's the roller. I hope this helps you.

Motor runs, brush won't turn, burning rubber smell

Easy to fix. The burning rubber smell is hair in the roller against the belt! Congrats, you have a healthy vacuum, you are lucky! Unplug the vacuum, remove the screws that cover the belt and roller brush. If you are nervous, take pictures with a cell phone or digital camera as you go for re-assembly. ok, pull the long roller out of it's slot and out of the vacuum. cut all hair off the roller and carefully move the belt from side to side to do the same. If the belt slips off, it slips back on easily. If the area is too tight for fingers guide it back on with any long thin wooden object. You can squeeze the belt to narrow it and slide it back over the thin metal rod that spins it from the motor. Slide the roller through the belt and back into it's slots. If it won't slide back on, turn it a quarter turn. Repeat till it does slide back into place. Put the face plate back on-tighten screws, flip it over, plug itr in and it should work!

Trying to change the belt

things you will need Vacuum belt
  • Screwdriver
  1. Locate and purchase the correct belt for your Eureka vacuum cleaner from the local grocery or department store. Vacuum belts come in different sizes according to your model of vacuum. Check your owner's manual or the vacuum itself for your model number.

  2. Turn your vacuum cleaner over so that the bottom of the unit is facing you. Remove the cover plate from the bottom by undoing the screws that are holding it in place with a screwdriver.

  3. Locate the belt pulley rod near the back of the vacuum base coming out of the motor. With the vacuum cleaner base turned upside down and facing you, the motor and pulley rod should be up near the top of the base.

  4. Slide the vacuum brush roller out of the slots at the bottom of the vacuum base and remove the old belt from the brush roller and pulley rod. With the brush roller off of the unit, clean the brush by removing any strings or cords wrapped around the tube.

  5. Install the new belt by looping it over the belt pulley rod next to the motor and then looping around the end of the brush roller in the belt slot. Hold the brush roller and pull back on it to tighten the belt while you slide the roller back into the slots on the vacuum base.

  6. Replace the base cover plate by snapping it back into place and securing it with screws. Turn vacuum back upright and turn it on to test the belt and verify the unit is working

Brush roll won't turn on for the shark NV22L vacuum. the light on the brush roll is dark, not red or green

Atthe bottom of the vacuuam are screws to take off...two of them are near the rear wheel assembly....two of them are behind the front mini wheels (just pry the front mini wheels so that they pop out...they pop back in)
Remove all of the screws. Remove the bottom from the top..they come apart in two pieces. Ceck the belt on the bottom piece. Slide the roller out starting from the end opposite from the motor end. With the roller off, slacken the the belt so that it misses the gear on the motor (you will have to hold it with your hand). Plug in the vacuum. Turn the power on to the roller on position. The motor should work and the green light should be on. If the motor doesn't work, then it is defective. If it does work, turn off, unplug and shoot the gear and the two ends of the roller with WD-40. reassemble. good luck.

Just sits and shudders when you push any button except the up and down button

HI, mine started doing the shuddering. It would roll OK, but shudder when the massage part kicked in. I took it apart. There is a plastic gear on the shaft at the bottom of the massage motor. It has a broken tooth. I called the support number for human touch: (800) 355-2762 and they only sell all the mechanical guts as a package for $125.00. I'm still looking for just the gear but am having no luck.
