Cillit bang stainrd stainless steel cooker

I have similiar problem. Surely manufacturer should put a warning on a package as it doesn't state that product is not suitable for stainless steel. Also using the same product on my sink did not cause any damage?
Also surely it takes more that 5 minutes to properly clean cooker top especially when the stain is a difficult one and you don't really want to scratch the surface. Think producer should be liable in this case.

Anyhow, does anybody know the solution to remove that kind of stain? Maybe somebody tried scratch-B-gone?
