First thing is to read manuals. A lot of RC's you have to bind or connect signals of the receiver and hand held controller. This is called binding. You always turn on radio first and then the RC. To bind there might be a button recessed in the receiver you need to push (you might need a small tool or stick) to push it. Most of the time it will go from a flashing light to a solid green light.

How to bind a cirrus 3 cfm rc radio to reciever

The Cirrus is a FM system not a Binding system. FM systems like AM systems use matching crystals for the Transmitter and Receiver.

My Yamaha RX-V563 receiver displays "Check Speaker

Look closely at the rear connector panel of the receiver and look for pieces of stray strand wire that may be touching the speaker A binding post and the receiver chassis. If you are not using strand wire connection to the binding post then check whatever connector type you are using such as banana plug or spade plug for breakage or corrosion, the same goes for the speaker cable itself which isn't always so easy to detect. A few broken strands can cause a problem.
If it is clean, turn off the receiver and disconnect the speaker cable. Check the binding post for tightness; if you can wiggle it then it is broken and needs to be replaced.

Where can i get mission gold plated binding posts from ?

I am assuming that you are after gold binding posts for a Mission speaker.

You could look on eBay for a used pair, and salvage the necessary part.

Also you can purchase aftermarket binding posts, which come in all shapes and sizes. Partsexpress.com is a great resource. Here is the specific link for their binding posts:

How do I connect using black and red cables a pioneer VSX-406 sub

Black would be minus - and red would be plus + but this will only work if your receiver actullay has a + and - binding post specifically for the sub woofer. Sometimes you will have wiring binding posts and other times you will have a rca phon plug and maybe your sub has that as well

Receiver shuts off as volume is turned up beyond

try connecting only 1 speaker at a time. try it on each of the binding posts (connection terminals), crank it up to locate which one of the speaker terminals is overloading the amplifier.

Then connect a different speaker to that terminal to see if it still overloads. This should determine if its the speaker that is overloading that particular terminal or if something is wrong with the amplifier.

Just for fun make sure that the cables you are using don't have any fraying and that none of the speaker binding posts have any loose strands of wire possibly grounding out to the chassis of the receiver.

How does the speaker wire physically connect to the Harman Kardon DPR 2005?

You have 7 pairs of plastic binding posts.

Unscrew the post until it comes out an eighth of an inch.

You will see two spaces in the black plastic one at the top and one at the bottom of each binding post. That space is for the wire. Strip half an inch of jacket off your speaker wire and slip the stripped part inside the hole and screw the binding post down on it and it will squeeze the wire against the contacts.

If you find that difficult since the posts are so close tommorow, a "Banana Jack" may be put on the wire then pushed into the hole in the binding post.

It is difficult to describe in writing but onece you see it you will understand.

Black posts are the negative, they are all on a common ground. Coloured posts are positive.
