I press the Standby/On switch, nothing happens.

I push the switch, I hear it click, there is power draw because the room light dims briefly, just like when it used to turn on, but nothing happens beyond that. Every time I push the switch, same thing.

SOURCE: Not powering on

1. The power cord is not completely insered. 2. the impedance selector switch on the rear panel is not fully set to the upper or lower end - (set it when the unit is in the standby mode) other then that, you will have to call for a service.

SOURCE: you had a post that said you had fixed faulty power relays on DSP-a1 - how do you identify the relays that need cleaning?

That your amp does not go into the second stage of powering up indicates a fault which is causing it to sit in non-active mode. This could be due to blown output audio module or transistors or a fault in the safety circuit itself. It is not a fault the non-technician can repair and it would need to be sent to an authorized workshop.
I have seen situations where users unknowingly leave frayed ends of wire shorting across the speaker output terminals which can lead to this sort of fault. You could check this out also.

Sony wega kdf42we655 power led blinking red

If lamp light is on at tv front then replace lamp as existing lamp sounds dead/ broken.
Lamp replacement procedure would be written in user manual of tv.
And if lamp light is not on but standby light is blinking then let me know how many times it is blinking to find out problem cause as standby light blinking is an error code.

None of the buttons on front panel works. I pressed each one but nothing is happening. I just got this through ebay.

Turn the power button on. It should light the switch. Turn it on from standby, it should light up the front panel. Then the switches should work.....unless one of the buttons got pushed in during shipping and it is still stuck in the pressed position. Check that all the switches push back when pressed.

My left side power window won't go up on my 1997 F 150

Either your window motor is bad or master switch. do this, push on the switch that has the bad window and very carefully see if dome light dims in vehicle while pushing switch like there is a load in the electrical system. if it dims you know your circuit is good and window motor is bad. if nothing happens, like no sign of electrical load, your circuit has a problem, most commonly window switch is bad. you should hear a relay clicking when pushing switch if switch is good. hope it helps

Automatic shifter noise

Hello, and welcome to FixYa.
What you are hearing is the "Shift-interlock solenoid" activating. That is the device that keeps the shifter from being shifted into drive without your foot on the brake pedal. The brake light switch sends power to the Shift interlock solenoid, and, when powered, the oin retracts, allowing you to move the shift lever. This is a normal condition. Nothing to be concerned about. The lights dim because of the slight draw on the alternator.

I would really appreciate a "FixYa" rating for my assistance.
Thanks in advance.
