I have a Miele CVA 4070 that stopped grinding beans.

I have had this happen with Franke commercial grind and brew makers. The way to fix it is to push the handle of a wooden spoon down into the bottom of the hopper when it starts to grind. We had a batch of coffee beans that were prone to sticking across the bottom of the hopper. I figured it was something to do with the bean, the roast and the oil.

Cuisinart conical burr grinder not grinding. I've cleaned everything but it wont grind. The conical piece in the middle turns but its like it wont pull the beans down into it to grind.

Can you put the grinding size to maximum? Are the beans may be too big for the grinding mill to pick up.
Can you maybe also try smaller beans for the mill?

Just bought a mazzer super jolly grinder, used it once, the grind was too coarse (#6), adjusted it to a finer grind ((3), and the next time i ran it it stopped grinding, the motor is on, the grinder turns,...

yes, you have to remove the beans inside because there is beans stuck between the burrs. after removing the beans, start doing the finest first before loading the hopper then after putting the beans test the grind as you go courser.

Beans are too oily

This fixes almost all the "beans will not feed or beans will not grind" problems caused by coffee bean dust packed in the burrs. Oily beans cause this problem more fequently.
a. Pour all the beans out the top.
b. Open the settings up all the way and see what else can be poured out. Use your shop vacuum to **** grounds out the spout and backward out the bean bin.
c. Pour in some instant rice and start grinding. Reduce the grind to a small setting like six and then open the settings all the way again. (The grinder will not start at a low setting with the rice in it. If you let it stop, open the settings to about 16 before trying to restart.)
d. Pour out the rice and vacuum out the ground rice.
e. Adjust the grinder to your favorite setting and try a coffee grind. Grind until most of the rice dust is expelled (any remaining trace of rice dust will not affect the flavor of the coffee).
