It is possible on of your radio has a problem. The best option is to test with a third radio to determine which one is not working.

SOURCE: one of the 2 radios will not work

Check the programming of the Frequency, interference eliminator Code, and Qt filter (if any). Be certain all the radios match exactly. If you then still have a problem, set your Qt filter (if any) and your Code to zero (or off). This will return your radio to basic operation and they should work together.

If not, check your batteries. Trade the batteries from one radio to another. Does the problem switch to the other radio? If so, you need to replace the batteries.

If none of the above solves the issue, you may have a defective radio.

How do I make them work? I have them on the same channels yet they don't communicate to each other.

It is likely a programming problem or a battery problem. Check your interference code eliminator, it may differ between the radios.

Motorola t5720 one buzzes and you can't hear transmission. It transmits to its partner just fine. It just won't receive transmission form its partner, just a loud buzz

Try trading the batteries between the units and see if the problem moves to the other radio. If so, replace the battery pack. If the problem persists, you have a defect radio, which needs replaced.

Best regards.

Try checking the vibra call settings for your vibrating issue. Also, as for the radios not communicating with one another you should check the programming of the frequency, interference eliminator and the Qt filter. All radios must be identical to work together.

Motorola T5725 won't work

I have T5720s - both have the same settings (channel 1), both are charged, but they won't communicate. They beep when you push the "talk" button, but you don't hear anything on the second radio.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
