HI,
The is a screw behind readout Read out unit which we can see through a hole. Remove the the screw and detach out the back cover. Remove the battery wire for the socket and dismadle the battery. Buy a new battery with the same specification and install the new battery. Reattach the back cover and put the screw back.
OK

How do I repair my kettler condor cross trainer

What's wrong, is the readout simply not working? If thats all it's the battery, which is easy to replace but a little harder to find. Just in case it's the battery I'll paste here my solution:
If you look behind the unit, (directly behind the digital readout) you'll see a small rectangular inset, if you look up in that (I used my cell phone light), you'll see a tab that you can pry with a screwdriver gently to release the computer section. Just keep one hand on top, when you pry it you'll feel the unit pop up, then you can lift it out. It takes 2 AA batteries, thankfully not some bizarre disk batteries :)
Btw when you look at the readout, you'll notice it's set in a silver square- that square is the computer module that pops out.
Hope this helps!

How do you connect a HP compaq fan to a 9-volt battery?

  • Remove the 9-volt battery to be tested from the device it is powering.

Read the instructions of the testing device to ensure an understanding of how to connect the battery to the tester properly.

  • 3

Attach the battery to the testing device according to the manufacturer's instructions, being careful to attach the positive terminal of the battery to the positive input of the testing device, which will be indicated by a "+" or "positive." Attach the negative terminal of the battery to the negative input of the testing device, which will be indicated by a "-" or "negative."

Read the display of the testing device to determine the status of the battery. If the voltage is low, replace the battery with a new one.

The electrical output of a 9-volt battery will decrease slowly until it reaches a level that is no longer adequate to power a 9-volt device. When the output of the battery decreases to 5.5 volts or less, the battery should be replaced as the power output has diminished to a point of imminent failure.

When you step on the scale the readout says "LO". Does this mean low battery, and if so I can't find a battery to replace.

Yes it means battery needs replacing. Check oringinal papers that came with scale to see if you need to order special battery. Otherwise go to a battery store that recharges batterys. They usually carry most makes. Take your battery with you so you can match right one.

On my console, all the readouts for the speed,distance...turn on but they come up as all zeros. I put new batteries in but I still get no readouts. Help.

Has anyone had the treadmill apart? Most of the readouts are really very simple. Simply a sensor wire that runs down to the pulley with a sensor at the end. It counts the revolutions of the drive pulley and gives calculated readouts for speed, est calories, distance etc. all the same function really
Check the wire for breaks, check the sensor for positioning and dirt, check the magnet on the drive pulley that tells the sensor pulley position

    6AE Lo

6AE Lo is probably 'bAt Lo'. Batteries are low and need to be replaced.  It looks like 6AE Lo because of the digital readout (b looks like 6).

Model number shouldn't change what the readout means.

Readings disappear on thermostat for awhile then come back

    Hi Linda,

There are a few things that cause this:

    1. When the heat is starting, it will sometimes go blank for a few minutes and then resume.
    2. Most have batteries, replace them with fresh new ones, if the electricity goes out while you are away, the batteries will keep the settings.
    3. Have someone check the house when it is extremely cold or hire a service to monitor. Your alarm company can usually add temperature sensors to your home, it will add a little safety net for you.
Hope this was helpful, please rate my answer.
    Thanks,
    Paul
