Question about Cell Phones
I have a blackberry bold 9790. Yesterday my phone suddenly turned off, no matter what I did it showed NO sign of life, not even a red LED light! I took the battery out and put it back it, like I have done before but still nothing. so I put it on charge and after a while I took the battery out again and put it back it, still no response. so I took it off charge for about 10 minutes, then put it on charge all night, when I woke up there was still nothing. about 30 minutes ago, I took the battery out, left it 15 minutes then put the battery back in, but still nothing! I've got so many memories on my phone and I really don't want to lose it, is there anything I can do??? please help

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Lots of battery issues with the Bold. Try taking the battery out, keeping it out and connecting to PC with USB. Do any lights come on? Red light should appear. Put battery in while connected to USB.
Another fix that I found for a friend-leave the battery out of the unit for a day-put it in and plug in power cord or USB. It worked.

Ok...don't panic. The charger you are using is not compatible. Verizon only works with verizon blackberry's. Non verizon will not work with blackberry and vice versa. This is what will happen. you plug it in and it will boot for a few seconds and then the lightning bolt you see is the charge icon and then a red line in it means that charger is not compatable. Blackberry does make its own charger but there is a "pin" on the plug in that will tell it it is not the right one. Am I confusing you?

It would be best to bring your phone to diagnose the problem. It could be a number of things, from software to hardware, so your best bet is to bring the unit to a service technician
