Question about Samsung LN46C750 46 in 3D LCD TV
I have removed the back panel and checked for any obvious issues including any scorching around resistors or bulging in capacitors. I see no visible problems with any of the boards including the power supply board. May pull off the filter capacitors and check them with a multimeter if nobody has any better suggestions. In all of my other electronic fixes when capacitors were bad it was obvious, but here they look fine. Would rather not desolder the capacitors if they are not the problem :P Any ideas?

Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
If the lines are present on every input you most likely have a bad screen. We usually replace the mainboard first because its cheaper .

I just had my HP-R4252 repaired on 12.05.09 with a similar problem. The picture is covered in horizonal, broken lines and the color is predominately red. They lines are grouped together in large bands across the screen.
The tech replaced the Y-Buffer boards (Up) and (Low) in about 20 minutes.

It would be a lot cheaper if you just replace the two caps that have gone bad. Just get a cheap solder pencil from the store and about an inch of solder and you are in business.
The Power Supply Board is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts.
Thaks for using FIXYA, BIG IRISH.
