Should be a reset button like a very small hole that you can press with a cocktail stick or similar, or remove the battery may work, but most sets have a backup battery. If both these methods dont work then you will have to consult instructions that will probebly have a method of reset by pressing two buttons together.

Hello, is there a way to permanently delete texts from a Galaxy 3 Samsung?

General Way: Delete All Android Data Simply by Factory Reset (Recoverable)
Advanced Way: Erase Everything from Android Phone (Unrecoverable)
To completely and permanently erase all data from Android device, it is strongly recommended to rely on a professional third-party erasing tool like Android Data Eraser (Windows/Mac). With it, you can easily wipe out all data from Android phone with zero opportunity to be recovered, including the existing data and deleted data on Android phone.
Step 1. Launch the Android Data Eraser after downloading and installing, and link your Android device to computer with a USB cable. After that, please install the MobileGo connector app on your device for successfully detecting your device.
Step 2. When the program detects your device, please hit "Erase All Data" mode on the interface. Then click "Erase Now" button and type "delete" on the pop-up window to confirm your action and start to wipe out all data from your Android phone permanently and safely.

Note: this method erases all songs - starts you over:
Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
