SOURCE: Adobe Flash Player download problem

Hi,
What Browser are you using, incidentally?
If you're trying to download the latest Flash Player, then maybe the link is detecting your browser... If you are using a 64-bit browser (I have no experience of these, I just think this might be worth a try) then maybe you should try installing Firefox and installing the Adobe Flash Player with that, to make sure you don't get 're-directed' to the 64-bit-message.
Try this link instead:

Hope this helps

SOURCE: How to close compuServe when to download Adobe Flash player with safari browser

try pressing clt+at+del this will bring task manager.

here you can close down running programs and processes.

you can look in to the start up folder ( start-programs-start up) if you see an icon for compuserve there, pull it out to the desktop.
restat.

also you can find hidden startup programs by going to the run box and typing in MSCONFIG.

there will be a start up tab. if you see it there, disable it and restart.

maybe then it wont start up and you can dowln the app you wanted.

Hi Susan. I'm going to ask you to completely uninstall Adobe Flash and reinstall it as the latest version.

To Uninstall Adobe Flash Player:
  1. Download the Adobe Uninstaller below http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe
  2. Exit all browsers and apps that use Adobe Flash.
  3. Run the installer that you just downloaded.
  4. Verify Adobe was uninstalled by restarting your PC, opening your browser and going to Flash Player Help, and clicking on "Check Now".
Adobe Flash Player should now be completely uninstalled.

To Install Adobe Flash Player:
  1. Visit Adobe Install Adobe Flash Player and click "Install Now".
  2. Close all apps and browsers running Adobe Flash and run the install program.
  3. After running the install, visit Flash Player Help and click "Check Now".
  4. Your Flash version should now be displayed along with your browser and OS.
You should now be able to watch YouTube videos without any problems. I hope this information helped you solve your problem. If it did, please consider voting for this answer. It is greatly appreciated.

if you click on the play button one time only and its not working.there maybe two problems your 1. adobe flash player - just uninstall your current adobe flash player and download the latest adobe flash player 2. web browser - just change your web browser and use another one
Here's how 1. To do so, download http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-mac.html here to uninstall
2. follow adobe instructions for reinstalling the most recent version. The download option is on the right-hand side of the page.
3. Once you've downloaded the file, please exit your browser first, and then install the upgraded version of Flash to you're computer.
4. Finally, open your browser again and go to YouTube. You should now be able so successfully watch videos!

Adobe flash player wont install

Try uninstalling the adobe flash player and re-installing latest Flash player again. It may have solved your problem.

You can download the latest flash players from here:

1. IE Browsers: http://filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/
2. non_IE browsers: http://filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_firefox/

You should download the compatible (32 or 64 bit) versions as necessary.

If updating the flash players doesn't help you, you should re-install your browser or try another browser, because the problem may be caused by the browser also.

Hope this helps, Mrityunjay.

I'm running Windows XP. Using IE8, the youtube videos won't play. There is no warning or anything, just the video is black and there is no play button. On Google chrome, there is no problem with playing...

Well Sunkengarden, the videos you are watching on YouTube or any such websites are the Flash Player Applications. That means, the Browser on which you are trying watch the videos, needs Flash Player Application to be installed on your computer. Such traditionally most widely used flash players are Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft Silverlight.
While you are using Google Chrome, there is no problem just because of Google Chrome already have in-built flash player within it. But the problem remains for IE or other Browsers.
Different Web-Browsers use different types of Adobe Flash Players (IE type or Non-IE type). So, for best results, I recommend you to install both the IE and Non-IE Adobe Flash Players on your computer to have all the browsers play the videos without any problem.
Download the Flash Players by clicking on the following links:
Hope this helps,
Regards, Mrityunjay.

Downloading adobe flash player be come a problem on my computer

When you download and install Flash Player from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center, the download uses the Adobe Download Manager. Instead of using the Adobe Download Manager, you can download and run the Flash Player installer manually.
  1. If you haven't already done so, Uninstall previous versions of Flash Player.
  2. Select the manual installer depending on the browser you use. Select one of the following:
  1. A File Download dialog box appears. Select Save. (If you are using Firefox, select Save File).
  2. Print these instructions and then close all applications.
  3. Open the folder in which you saved the file.
  4. Double-click the file name to run the manual installer.
  5. Select the license agreement and then select Install.

    installer.gif
  6. When the installation completes, select Done.
  7. Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about. If the installation was successful, the page displays the Adobe Flash Player version. For more information, see Determine the Flash Player version you installed, if any.

My laptop dont seem to want to stream certain videos.. my youtube works fine however im just wondering if you can give me some information as to why mine wont even get to the stage of playing for a few...

If you are streaming videos from websites it can be your browser intentionally blocking the content because of badly configured / over sensitive security settings, or you might be missing the plugins for some web media streaming applications, normally Microsoft Silverlight (free, and available through Windows Update or Microsoft download center) and Adobe Flash player (free, available at adobe.com) would cover most of the plugins used today.

For playback issues of video files located on your system you will need an updated video playback device, Media Player Classic is currently the top shooter in terms of compability and storage efficiency found at:
