Question about Google Computers & Internet
Trying to change my homepage but one 8 keeps coming up
1 Go to tools on the top right, then settings.
2 Go to "Appearance" and you'll see the home button. Make sure this is clicked. To the right of this click "change" and set what home page you want.
3 Now to get rid of the "one 8". Go to your google icon in "start > all programs and left click Google Chrome. This brings up the Google Chrome icon.
4 Right click the icon and then left click "properties".
5 Click on "shortcut". Below that you'll see "target". The target shold end with the words ........... \chrome.exe"
6 Delete everything after this as that's where the "one 8 is probably lurking.
Any time you get a different home page or start page, this is where you'll usually find the offending program.
ps ... in your settings, check that the "one 8" isn't in your list of search engines. If it is, delete it. Any problems, get back to me.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Have you gone to Yahoo and clicked on tools, internet options, and set the home page to "current"?
If not, do so. Then it should stay there.
