Why is my dell 926 printer is blacking everything out


Hi,

The print head nozzles may be clogged. From the Utility section found in the printer driver, clean the print heads by performing a head cleaning followed by printing a nozzle check pattern. A head cleaning and nozzle check must be performed as a cycle. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed dot pattern. Each staggered horizontal and straight vertical line should be complete, with no gaps in the dot pattern. If there are gaps in the dot pattern, continue with another cycle. Performing up to 6 cleaning cycles is not uncommon if the print heads are severly clogged.

Now you will be able to print in colour.

Canon Printer - Pixma 5000 Trying to print out pages of text. The text is coming out with a line printing normally - then a block of text / lines missing completely - then tops of line or bottom of line...


pull out the black cartridge then get a tissue paper try pressing the nozzle again the tissue paper but not so hard then release look for the straight line that appear on the tissue paper if it is not change it

No instructions on how to adjust and clean printer. Getting poor qualaity lines.


Please confirm that the head cleanings were done using the most effective method listed below.
  1. Select Hard Drive > Applications > Utilities. Open the Print Center. Proceed to Step 2.

  2. Highlight your printer in the list and then select the Utility icon at the top of the window or choose the Printer Utility in the Printers menu.
  3. Select Nozzle Check > Next.
  4. Examine the pattern that has printed. Each staggered horizontal line and straight vertical line should be complete and matching the pattern viewed on your screen labled Good.
  5. If all the lines do not meet then you must clean the printheads by clicking Clean. Click Finish if the nozzle check pattern has no gaps.
  6. After the printer has finished cleaning, click on Confirmation. Another nozzle check pattern will now be printed. If it is solid without any gaps, click on Finish. Otherwise, click Clean. Perform this step up to two more times, if necessary.
  7. If the situation continues after three cleaning cycles and nozzle checks, replace one of the affected ink cartridge(s).
  8. Once the cartridge(s) has been replaced, please follow steps one through six up to three times.
If the nozzle check still has gaps after you have run at least 3 consecutive cleaning cycles and replaced the affected ink cartridge(s) with genuine Epson inks, your printer will require service.

I have an HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One that was purchased in 2008. I have using it to scan slides and create JPEG files from which I have been making prints, mostly 4x6 format. Just today for the first...


Issue The All-in-One is working, but the printed output is not straight on the page. It is skewed or crooked. Solution Follow these steps to resolve this issue: Step one: Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly
  1. To make sure that the paper is loaded correctly, check the following conditions:
    • The right side of the paper is even with the right side of the paper tray.
    • The paper guides are adjusted to the edges of the paper.
    • The paper is flat in the tray.
  2. Make sure only one type of paper is loaded in the All-in-One.
  3. Make sure the rear access door is securely installed.
Print a diagnostic page If no identifiable problem exists with the paper or the guides, print a test diagnostic page to see if the unit is operating correctly. Follow these steps to print a diagnostic page:
  1. Load letter, A4, or legal unused plain white paper into the input tray.
  2. Touch the Setup icon on the display.
  3. Touch Tools .
  4. Touch Self-Test Report . The HP All-in-One prints a Self-Test report, which might show the source of the printing problem.
Validate that the printer is within skew tolerance Follow these steps to validate that the printer is within skew tolerance using the self test report:
  1. Fold the paper horizontally into half. Look through the paper to see the single and double lines at the top and bottom of the page.
  2. The line over the single line and the line below the two lines should overlap exactly.
  3. The single line at the top of the page should fall between the two lines at the bottom of the page.
Step two: Clean the paper rollers Follow these steps to clean the paper rollers:
  1. Turn off the unit and unplug the power cord.
  2. Remove the rear access door.
  3. Wipe the paper rollers with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled or bottled water. Rotate the rollers with your fingers to clean all the way around.
  4. Allow the rollers to dry completely, and then replace the rear access door.
  5. Plug the unit back in and turn it on.
Step three: Service the printer If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product. If this does not resolve the probelm I suggestsdownloading the HP Print Diagnoostic Utility:

Printed pages have white lines


Adjust the properties of your print mode the default is normal change it to best. the printing speed will change but the print quality will be good.

Colour problem
