Windows Vista or 7 or 8, I guess...?
1. Left click on spybot (just to mark it blue..)
and then either
2. Right click and "Run as administrator"
or
Ctrl+Shift+Enter and press ok!

Did that help?

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How to reset administrator password on windows server 2012 raid server? My computer is HP HP ProLiant ML110 G5 with raid 10. I have try to use Chntpw to reset the lost password, but it cannot detect my...

Which operating system ??
The Hewlett Packard ILO (Integrated Lights Out) tool lets a network administrator connect to a remote Windows Server system.
This process enables the administrator to perform troubleshooting and problem fixing as if the server were connected locally.
If the password of the account used for connectivity becomes corrupt, it can be reset from within the Windows interface.

Log on to a Windows computer that has a connection to the HP ILO.
Click the "Start" button. In the "Search" box, type "lusrmgr.msc."
Press "Enter" to open the User Management console.
Double-click "Local Users and Groups."
Click "Users."
Scroll down to the HP ILO user account.
Right-click on it. From the drop-down list, click "Set Password."
Type in a new password.
Click "OK."

Retrieving administrator in xp
Recover the lost administrators password in Windows XP
Slightly more work needed if you lose or forget the Windows XP
administrator password.
1.First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re starting the computer and
pressing F8 repeated as the computer starts up.
2.Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run.
In the open box type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes
I have just used quotes to differentiate what you have to type.
3.You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the
administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.
4.Just click the administrators user account, and then click Reset
Password.
5.You will need to add a new password in the New password and the
Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.
All done, you have recovered the lost administrators password!

Forgot admin password

Here's how to reset your password:
  1. First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeatedly as the computer starts up.
  2. Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes, of course)
  3. You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.
  4. Just click the administrators user account (or the target user's account), and then click Reset Password. You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.
  5. All done, you have recovered the lost password
Hope you'll have it resolved soon :-)

My laptop will not load my administrator profile

You probably have spyware or malware, if you are unable to access any System Restore files and you are experiencing a profile problem.

Try accessing via Safe Mode (press F8 continuously).

Copy your data files to an external drive.

Try to fix your system by downloading, installing and running SpyBot and Malwarebytes.

If unsuccessful, your operating system is corrupted and will need to be repaired or reinstalled.

Hope this helps.

hi friend,

If you have lost or forgotten the XP administrator password, first reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeated as the computer starts up. Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes.

You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.

Just click the administrators user account, and then click Reset Password.

You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.

If it’s a BIOS password then there are several ways to do it, on older Toshiba's there is a “key” that you put in the parallel port to unlock it, or you can remove the BIOS battery (with the main battery and the mains out) then short out the pins for a few seconds (sometimes you have to strip down the base of the laptop to get to it, maybe half to an hours work if you know what you’re doing). If it has been written to a fixed memory, you’re stuffed and need to contact Toshiba with proof that it’s yours.
If it’s an XP / Vista user account password then you can either log in as Admin using safe mode (F8), or, as happens sometimes) you’ve removed/disabled the Admin account or forgotten ITS password as well then you need to clear the user account password file (ther are a number of programs that do this, I know which ones I prefer, others may have different choices)
If you’re still stuck let me know.
thank u for using fixya regards, sivaranjini

Forgot login password and only have my account

If you don't have a recovery CD, then probably you should take a try of this password recovery software, a password recovery software suite which is capable of resetting Windows Administrator login password, and recovering lost password for multiple web browsers, mail clients, FTP clients, chat messengers etc. Moreover, it can find those lost software license key or product serial numbers. Good luck!

Sir i have a problem with laptop,its effected from a.exe virus.how do i remove it,please help.i am usin gxp {profesional}

You will have to try a bunch of different software to get rid of this. Let's start you off from the top.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

Malwarebytes.

Ad-Aware.

Spybot Search & Destroy. (When installing Spybot, make sure to uncheck TeaTimer.exe. In other words, don't install it!)

AVG Anti-Rootkit Free.

You will need to download each utility. After installing them, restart your computer. After the restart, open up NOD32 Anitvirus and update its security definitions file. After it has been updated, perform an in-depth scan on your entire computer.

After NOD finishes, exit the utility and open Malwarebytes. Update Malwarebytes' security definition files. Afterward run a full scan on your entire computer. After the scan finishes, remove anything found (restart if necessary).

After Malwarebytes finishes, open up Ad-Aware. Update Ad-Aware's security definition files. Afterward run a full scan. If anything is found, remove it and if necessary, restart your computer.

After Ad-Aware finishes, open up Spybot Search & Destroy. Update Spybot's files then exit Spybot. Now open up Spybot again and select the category, "Immunize." After the automatic scan finishes, select, "Immunize" at the top of the aplication. After immunization is complete, exit Spybot. Now open up Spybot, again. After Spybot loads run the scanner (Press, "Check for Problems"). After the scan finishes, remove anything found then restart if necessary.

After Spybot finishes, open up AVG Anti-Rootkit Free. After the application finishes loading, perform an in-depth scan of all hard-drives. If anything is found, remove it then restart your computer.

If the virus remains after following the steps above you will have to get your computer repaired as it only gets trickier from here.

Let me know how it turns out for you. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need any more assistance.

My x has been hacking my computer

#1 Disconnect from the internet and install a current antivirus and run a scan to see if any viruses are found. You can download AVG and all the current updates to a Flash drive on another system. You can do the same with SPYBOT Search and destroy with looks specifically for spyware.

#2 After you have removed any viruses from the system, boot to the safe mode, log on the administrator account, change the password for the administrator and all users, then reboot in the normal mode.

#3 Install a 3rd party firewall software like Zone Alarm before re-connecting to the internet

IF this doesn't work, then rebormatting the system and reinstalling Windows will resolve.
