SOURCE: Alignment problem

Try swabbing the print surface of the color cartridge with a q-tip and a little alcohol. It may be clogged.

Remover Black and color cartridges. Place small paper towel to protect ink outlet on bottom of printer. Use WD-40 spray on copper surfaces, both sides(Blk& Color). Dry surfaces with paper towel. remove small towel placed in bottom . Reinstall both cartridges. This cleared my 1102 error. Die Rote Baron!

SOURCE: cannot uninstall Lexmark Fax Solution.

Go to www.download.com put in Revo uninstaller in the search box. select the program for download and download it. Run the program. The window will come up and show all installations on the computer. Pick the program you want to get rid of. select program and click uninstall in the header, the program will initiate the programs own self installer first, when it is done or if it fails, Revo will continue with the uninstall. Make sure to choose option (4) when prompted with the type of removal you need. if prompted to restart windows after the uninstall, ignore and continue with the Revo program. Click next when it is highlighted by Revo and select all when prompted to delete files. Revo will prompt you when it has finished, just say yes to all files to delete.

How do I fix my printer?

I asume its related to its printer cartridge which possibly carries the print head with a cartridge.
I would think that either a menu selection on it via buttons or computer properties you print out a page or two with lines or things that look like fences get printed with numbers which you are then asked questions about which one is best this is then entered to set this alignment.

I am getting a DRV PREV REMOVAL TYPE (46) message on display, every time I try and Inventory a tape or run Lable Media.

I have two of these Quantum SuperLoader 3 (with LTO3 drives) and one does keep giving me the same hassle. I haven't figured out how to fix this, but I've gotten past the error: disconnect the autoloader from the host computer (i.e. or stop rsm, mtx, or whatever controlling sofware you use), reboot the autoloader, get the tape out of the drive (e.g. move command from the autoloader's console or web interface), insert a cleaning tape (a few times), reconnect everything (i.e. start back up your controlling service).

"Remove the cassette"

I only got the problem when the tape was bad. Usually the ribbon got folded, or was very wrinkly looking. Eventually I found out the drive was bad, and had to have it replaced.

I put in a new color cartridge and i keep getting a message you need to put in a new cartridge. but I already did

A common problem with ink cartridges are the plastic strips that protect the cartridge terminals. These strips are so thin that they can easily break, leaving a small piece covering the cartridge head. If this happens the printer cannot read that a new cartridge is installed.
Remove the cartridge a double check that all of the protective plastic tape is removed. If that fails, try unplugging your printer and wait several minutes before plugging it in again.

My Lexmark X5410 printer is giving an alignment error. The only advice the manual says to do is to remove the tape from the ink cartridge, and to use new paper so that the printer does not pick up any odd...

call Lexmark's toll free tech support # 1-800-539-6275. Have the printer's serial # ready.
They still give me free support on my 1020 and it's been out of warranty for years.

""I have the same issue. I replaced both cartridges and ran the alignment test numerous times but kept getting this message. I then unplugged the printer and plugged it back in and it was fixed! You probably already tried this but if not, it worked for me. Good luck!""

try that for about 10 seconds per the manual at ("http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/924/en/om_en/om_en.pdf" if you don't have it)

The catridges are put in correct places, but when i give a print

I had that problem with my Lexmark X5410. The cartridge box
said it worked in the X5410 but the instructions gave a different
number cartridge to use. The #32 cartridge was not right for my computer. It needed a #28 Black.
Also - make sure you remove the tape from the cartridge before installing it.
Good luck
